I think Ellie is a little frustrated and emotionally drained, everyone is actually and would be, couped up for months in one house. When people are sad and down, sometimes small little things also hurt. She may have felt that Kamya does not like her. But she never said anything to her or anyone else before, atleast not shown on TV. Earlier maybe she used to share her pain and feelings with Ratan. But now Ratan is also not there. So all her heart's problems, she just could not control it. And hence she cried during the dry paratha issue. I think that was a very natural and a very human normal response.

Looks like her true self is coming out
