I am finding it a little difficult to understand Bhairon's sudden support of ganga as jagya's bride. They never showed why he went all out for jagya.
I mean he never actively had any dislike for saanchi, nor did he show any great inclination towards ganga either (like say gehna did). He was just neutral.

So what made him suddenly accept ganga ?

Just curious into his psychology or his thought process. It's not necessary that he has some logic, but I would like to see if he has a thought process ?

anyone care to venture a guess?

He had no reason to be inclined towards Ganga but he always protected her and treated her with respect. He was angry when Sumitra didn't stop Ganga from leaving the haveli. He was angry when Sumitra wanted Ganga sent off to some shelter for women. He always touched Ganga's head with affection the way a father does...he never saw anything abt Ganga which perturbed him or he found fault with.

Supporting Ganga right now is not sudden. It comes after his meeting with Jagya, which cleared any doubts he had abt Jagya's recent behavior. He now trusts his son so fully, that he believes that his choice of a bride must also be right. If Jagya is right, then I should find no fault with the person he has chosen.

He feels Jagya has totally changed. His heart is clear of any negative intentions. He doesn't mean any harm. He wants to do good. Bhairon sees honesty in his eyes, senses it in his words...if a mother has an intuition, a father does too...and a father's heart has accepted his son's statements at face value, without much prying or picking underneath.

He has accepted Sanchi was the wrong choice to begin with. Decisions were taken in haste. Jagya is justified, Ganga is a good person.

Bhairon is gifted with sense of righteous...he keeps his ego aside and supports the right...at first even he was unhappy with Jagya's decision to marry Ganga but when he came to know the right reason he supported his son fully...Bhairon has always shown a bit of reluctance for Jagya-Saanchi marriage considering the relationship Jagya-Anandi share but when he thought everyone was happy he did not mind it much...unlike others he is not obsessed for anyone's hatred or love...he just follows his conscience which is mostly right
