Saras wakes up and thinks that kumud had listened to him and had gone home but is surprised to see she is there with the village "vaidhya".
Saras: I thought u were gone
Kumud: Where would I go?
Kumud stops the vaidhya to throw away the horni which has Saras' blood on it. She has tears in his eyes thinking that it was better that it was plain white rather that have it smeared with Saras' bloods. Saras also has a flashback of what he told her before leaving for Dubai.
The BDs reach the Desai's haveli and as Pramad starts maligning Kumud's character, Saras and Kumud reach there and tell the family everything. Pramad denies and call Saras and Kumud some dheela characters. Dugbaa supports her Kumud. SD is not convinced. Dugbaa and SD have a clash of words. Dugbaa tells SD that they have taught their children to
Dugbaa: Tell the truth Kumud!
Kumud narrates the story to them, how Pramad had tried to kill her with Kalika's support. Kalika denies. BD is livid to see her but Pramad defends his ally and tells his family how Kumud and Saras have been cheating the family and how Kalika has helped him in damasking SaMud.
Kumud fights back and Pramad continues his "nautanki". He keeps on telling everyone how Saras was trying hard to elope with kumud and that's why he is making up stories but Saras keeps counteracting his every point and feeling that he is getting trapped, he concludes in a dramatic way:
- I am not giving any explanation to anyone and definitely not to this woman.
Pramad rushes outside and again starts bad mouthing Kumud when he sees that the villagers have gathered in the yard. One of the villager asks him what is happening and he telss them how Kumud has spent a night with another man and how she is shamelessly cheating on him.
Seeing the drama Pramad is creating, Saras signals Danny and the latter takes Kumari with him and go away
The villagers are obfuscated to hear that Kumud is blaming him, her husband, just to save her skin and that of her lover. They ask Kumud to prove herself if she had not commited any "paap". The villager starts humiliating VC by challenging his "sanskaars" which makes Kumud livid.
She comes forward and tells them all off by refusing to give any "agni pariksha" to anyone and especially not for a devil like Pramad who forced alcohol down his wife's throat and who tried to kill her and she also makes it very clear to everyone:
- I tried my best to make my marriage works because of my father's upbringing and NOBODY insults my dad and Saras.
She also blasts Pramad left, right and centre. SD intervenes to take her son's side and when Alak intervenes to tell her off, SD slaps Alak. Kumud tells SD that she is wrong to cover up Pramad's evils and it is time to put a stop to it. Kumud walks forward.
Dugbaa: Where are you going KUmud?
Kumud: To file a complaint against Pramad and Kalika
Everybody is shocked. Saras is proud of Kumud and Alak too. Pramad tries to make Kumud change her mind by instigating the villagers and his mom. The Desais support their daughter. Alak approves and tells her father that Pramad has not changed. He is still the same cruel person who killed people by restless driving.
SD is heartbroken to see the police with Danny and Kumari at the gate. Kumud says:
- My husband has indeed tried to kill me.
SD asks Kumud to stop it because Pramad is her husband.
Kumud: No maa. He is neither my husband nor does he deserve my forgiveness.
The police take Pramad away who looks at Kumud with revengeful eyes.
Precap:
Bessan ke laddoo is going away. Dugbaa is stopping him but Saras says he promised Kumud he'll go when Kumud is safe and the day has come.
