Usually not a Gauhar fan, but today she was FAIR

Gauhar was extremely fair today.
I am shocked that people are even doubting this.

Examples of Gauhar being a good referee:

1. Asif: Yes, Asif had to deal with a lot of crap, but Gauhar did apologize to him and said that Kushal/Andy were not breaking the rules. However, I will say that in general, the whole house needs to respect Asif more and treat him better. He tried his hardest in that task, and was a real competitor.

2. Tanisha/Eli/Shilpa: Gauhar took a stand many times, and handled it as fairly as possible, and tried to be impartial. The first time, she told Shilpa that she needed to put two hands on the plate, and then another time, she made Shilpa put the plate back. Finally, she acknowledged that Shilpa used two hands, and gave her the win.

3. Gauhar was accused by BOTH sides of being unfair, but handled it with grace. She gave both sides many chances.

4. Kushal: She yelled at Kushal, warned him, and even disqualified him from one task. She also made him put a plate back when he took it while she was in the diary room.

5. Armaan/Asif: She told them that they could not be agressive and she was right.

6. Andy: Andy constantly criticised Gauhar for being unfair. Still, she stood her ground in her conversations with him.

7. Gauhar tried her best to strike a balance between both sides. You could see the stress and confusion and frustration on her face and in her body language.

Heaven and Hell

1. The whole point was that HEAVEN residents had to be NICE. HELL residents could be EVIL.

2. I did not think the stinky socks/underwear was cheating. Asif could move. He was not tied down, and rather, he accepted the consequences and stood his ground. He was truly competitive.

3. Tasks like this should be taken in a sportsmanlike and FUN spirit. Tanisha was way too serious and angry (and I usually like her, so I'm not being bias), and displayed no sportsmanship at all. It's a game!

4. I think that Kamya had a decent attitude for a change.

She was very good.

I liked Tanisha when she was Captain too, but now she is very bias.

Yeah Gayuhar was indeed a great captain because she was and did try her best to be fair but I just would have liked her to give penalties to the Hell side because they were being a bit too much with the dirty underwear and all.
BB was really unfair though. It was easy for the Hell side to torture and create havoc in order to get the medals but it was hard for the Heaven side to protect it.
BB should come out with fair games. It is my first season and I am very surprised to see many things like no food and unfair rules.

Agreed! Loved Gauhar as a Captain today. I mentioned this in another one of my posts earlier- I have not seen Gauhar being all bossy since the second week. She picked all her fights in the first two weeks- with Armaan, Kamya etc. Ever since she struck it with Kushal, she has really mellowed down.
But I really enjoyed seeing her back to her usual self today. Though I think she has a very bossy miss know it all attitude at times which can get irritating, but today she got it right because Bigg Boss had made her the co-ordinator and supervisor. She was being her usual domineering and aggressive self which was justified given the scenario.

I seriously LOLed when Kushal said she is being in character- she is aggressive which was sooo true. Also loved all those times when she was especially hard on Kushal for obvious reasons. Kushal was being a true little devil. Also loved their back and forth- Kushal was the only contestant who could truly give it back to her for obvious reasons again. (ignore the fact how childish they both actually came across 😆) Loved how Gauhar shot daggers at him everytime he challenged her authority or called her names. 😆

IMO, apart from finding the Andy underwear part a little gross, I thought everything else was justified- this was the nature of the task like you rightly pointed out- the hellmates were supposed to act like little devils and make life difficult for the Heaven mates which they did- all that shampooing, etc were all textbook tricks in how to annoy someone. And as you said, if Asif really had such a problem with it, he should have simply moved away. He held his ground for a reason- because he thought he could take it.

I loved how she took both sides to task over various issues and was as fair as a person could be. She was very well balanced and I thought acted like a great Captain today. So yeah, cheers to her. You go girl!

Of forgot to mention this in the previous post- it was really stupid of Tanisha to get involved when the two at the receiving end- Pratyusha and Ellie said they had no problem with Shilpas tackles. She then unnecessarily brought up Shilpas involvement in the Apoorva-Armaan- Asif issue. Is she really that daft? IMO, a wife has full right to interfere when her husband is at the receiving end. Though I guess she probably sees Armaan the same way. 😆😉
Also, I loved Gauhars team spirit- even though she was supposed to be a neutral and was by all practical purposes, they way she was encouraging the Heaven mates in the beginning by sayin ' Jannat ki laaj rakhna' was nice. This inspite of the fact that she knows most of the Heavenmates hate her and all her true friends are on the Hell side. Very impressive.
