Ankur ji did the greatest service to sandhya by marrying her to suraj and to RP. This is the best place for her to fulfill her dreams of becoming an IPS officer. More than suraj ji, it is babho and the other family members who are working tirelessly to train sandhya 👏
Let's look at some of the training methods and how sandhya's preparation for IPS has been so far.
Babho the drill sergeant : physical fitness. bring water from outside, carry pots on head and waist, do lots of physical labor... , wake up early, take cold showers- strengthen ur physique.
How to look for clues in everything - rice sack, wheat sack,..
Interrogation techniques : how to question ciminals and get to the bottom of everything - Thel maalish- hypnotism, EA, shouting, physical interrogation methods - slapping, even dancing.
Emotional fitness and strength trainer. Lots of EA and abuse so that sandhya will not be fazed/affected by anything she sees in the outside world. No politician or criminal can threaten her with anything. She can bear all interrogation methods. Sandhya has seen it all. She now has lots of patience, no amount of threatening her will deter her from her goals of getting to the bottom of a case.
Undercover agent - homemaker : just enough cooking to pretend to be housewife., just enough romance to be a wife. Babho also coached her on how to romance without getting too deep into the trap and how to hold back, memorize rith and Riwaz .
Memory portion: memorize grocery list, photographic memory to recite everything from just one hearing.
Meena: how to spy on people, gather info from locals. Lie to get ones way to solve cases. Distraction techniques - getting people attention so other officers could escape or do something else (maxi, ghee), quick thinking to cover up.
Emily: camouflage techniques, dress like locals folks (dressing like babho), become pally with people by doing make up, infiltrate and get into their gangs, muska the superiors for advancement in career, how to look for security glitches and beat them (sbc security flaws)
Mohit, chavi , Vikram : example of corrupt fellow officers and how to deal with them or just put up with them.
Suraj: example of honest officer who does all the work, no credit . If anything goes wrong in the department then is always threatened with " thanni illatha karttukku mathiduven" (will be posted to a desert) or get out of this house, good to have as friend for help with cases.
There was budding romance between suraj and sandy. But as per training protocols, romance, and show of affection was strictly prohibited. So surya were put under probation,(otherwise sandy to be dismissed and suraj transferred to favorite thanni illatha kaadu- desert )and monitored and discouraged. So all staff took great pains and went to great lengths to help sandy focus on IPS training and discourage any hanky panky between surya. Surya started a secret romance, but they were so good at it, it was a secret even to themselves! Secret romance to be unveiled to the world and to themselves only after Ips. Babasa : weak supervisor, takes bribes in the form of food and turns a blind eye to everything unless something major happens, good to have in ur corner for advises now and then.
HG people : mob mentality - mob dispersion - mob control.
Course work - syllabus completed in 3 semesters.

And this is why surya want to get back to RM, because sandhyas training is not complete. She has been having hands on, intense training for so long Sandhya is sure to pass upsc and become an IPS officer. No need for her to study for too long.
