Saras, though badly wounded wants to make sure that Kumud is safe n more importantly not maligned. He will alwats have her best interest at heart.

He says to Kumud:
- Go back home Kumud!

Kumud refuses.
She refuses to leave him in such a state and keeps reminding him of them as "hum" and the way she was looking at him was like she wanted to say:

- you think u r lost but u r not lost on ur own. I will stand by u. I will help u through, i am here for u when u feel u cant cope, i will fight ur fight and i wont let go!!
