I don't like Gauhar's attempts to reiterate the 'good friends' theme whenever someone points out the romantic connection that's brewing between her and Kushal. If you are just 'good friends' then why not act like 'just friends' and stop the couple drama? Either accept or reject the love story. But don't deny it using the 'just good friends' excuse and take the audience for a ride.
To sum it up, she has no valid reason to shut up Asif because her actions with Kushal do not justify that.
