Ayaz-Nikita's lip-lock will not be aired!

Television seems to have come of age, with actors no longer shying away from shooting intimate scenes. After the Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar's lip-lock in Bade Achhe Laggte Hain, it is the turn of younger actors Ayaz Ahmed and Nikita Sharma to kiss on television. The two shot the scene a few days back for their show Do Dil... Ek Jaan, but a source informed us that it might not be telecast.

Says the source, "The lip-lock takes place during the Navratri festival. Raghu takes Antara aside and kisses her passionately. However, we don't think the scene will make it to the episode and Raghu will be shown kissing Antara on her eyes and cheeks. Just to show that they have had a lip-lock too, their heads will be shown tilted against the camera."

Nikita confirms, "Though I can't comment on the scene, all I can say is that there is a love-scene we shot for recently. The script demanded it and that's the way a couple would behave. There is a moment of love between them." So, was she nervous initially? "Not at all. When we are shooting, we become the characters. We have to think about the requirement of the show since the viewers connect with the characters we play. I won't have any qualms if I have to do an intimate scene if it's an absolute requirement. Obviously, one has to keep in mind that our show caters to Indian viewers."
