may be akbar was not interested to know about who tried to kill may be he knew the fact it must be a close member of him

it can be Maham, Adham or shariff

as all are his relatives

he dint want world to know

nor wanted to punish them

may be akbar was good soul too

maham and adham are neither related by blood or by marriage to family

sharifuddin yes is sister's husband- but do you know one fact bakshi bano was a widow and was married to this sharifuddin by akbar only- why does he always like dubious characters and make them family members?

He must have thought sharifuddin is shareef.. probably that is why.

no one will be greedy before may be after marrying Bakshi, shariff got more power from akbars side, once we start getting all the things easier we will forget that we should work hard to achieve anything its human tendency to be greedy and selfish, may be Sharifff became greedy after tasting the part of Akbars kingdom, and he would have got a thought that if there is no Akbar his chances of sitting on throne are high

same here with MA, first she became foster mother her love and care for kid jalal will selfless, as akbar sat on throne he started giving her more importance in his kingdom political matters, so it turned her greedy too...

she forgot that She is Daasi in mughals empire she dreampt of making Adham the king by making jalal out of their road...

Conclusion is its the power and money which makes humans greedy...
