SILSILA revisited in DELHII HEIGHTS

If there is one small film that is fast making its presence felt before its arrival on March 09, it is Anand Kumar directed DELHII HEIGHTS.

Starring Jimmy Shergill, Neha Dhupia, Rohit Roy and Simone Singh in lead roles, it is giving fresh vibes to a viewer. The film is a light hearted entertainer that would make you smile along as the story based in up market Delhi unfolds.

The promos of the film are on and one can't help but notice the similarity of one of the key sequences in the film to that of Yash Chopra's SILSILA.

It's the Holi song 'Ay Gori' we are talking about where Rohit Roy gets into some naughty antics with Neha Dhupia a la Amitabh Bachchan with Rekha in SILSILA. Also, just like Sanjeev Kumar and Jaya Bhaduri had some confused reactions in the classic number 'Rang Barse', even Jimmy and Simone get to play similar emotions.

In DELHII HEIGHTS, Jimmy Shergill and Neha Dhupia are a newly married husband and wife while Rohit and Simone form another couple who all live together in the high rise apartments that go by the name of DELHII HEIGHTS.

The film has music by Rabbi Shergill which is already becoming popular; especially 'Delhi Bas', 'Tere Bin' and now 'Ay Gori'
