glass, teacups and samosas

I am surprised that the doctors and nurses didn't say anything about the following and neither did Ira and her illustrious highly educated family realize on their own.
In cases of patients who have attempted suicide, glasses and tea cups are not allowed according to hospital policy. Because if the patient suddenly goes berserk again, they may break the glass and slit their wrist again even if people are around it can happen in a split second... or if the patient is unattended... and the glass is left there by accident or mistake, same thing. All rooms with suicide patients are really "sterilized" with no curtain strings, no ceiling fans, bedsheets which are tied down to the bed so that the patient cannot fashion a self-styled noose. All cutlery and utensils are of a padded plastic variety. even plastic forks are not allowed. Plates are all paper plates.
Yet yesterday, anandi brought milk to saanchi in a glass (made of glass). The shekhars all had tea in proper crockery tea-cups made of ceramic ... and then when dadisa and bhairon left the room... all shekhars including ira came out leaving saanchi unattended BUT THE ENTIRE TROLLEY WITH SAANCHI'S MILK GLASS AND ALL THE TEA CUPS REMAINED INSIDE HER HOSPITAL ROOM. What if saanchi had just got up and smashed a cup and slashed her wrist yet again??
Then Daddu with his samosas 🤢
First of all, suicide-attempt patients are only given porridge or gruel or jelly to eat because if they are given large items like samosas, they may stuff two or three down their windpipe to try to commit suicide again by blocking their own breathing. So food given to them is only of watery consistency like soup or dal, to prevent a repeat attempt. Big large lumpy foods like samosas and khasta kachori and daalwadas are simply not done.
Saanchi's other favourite is chocolate milkshakes. Could daddu not have ordered that for her instead?
I really feel daddu himself wanted to eat samosas, greedy little pig that he is ... but then he knew that it was not in good taste to talk of food just now... so he ordered the samosas and said it was "for saanchi" 😆😆 ... come on old man, you don't fool me!!! 😉
In addition, patients like saanchi who have lost a lot of blood need time to heal so that their body can generate new blood. Oily foods like samosas made with maida etc. really tax the system and full energy then has to go to digestion, so new blood production activity then gets hampered.
Usually light food is given so that the human body can take its attention away from digestion and go to do whatever repair work is done.
So from all this, my conclusion is that the shekhars themselves are trying to kill saanchi and make it look like it was a suicide to frame Jagdish!!! 🤣🤣🤣. They are cleverly introducing all sorts of elements in her room which can be used again as potential suicide weapons. 🤣🤣🤣 But they want to keep their hands clean.

Agreed Samosa was not nutritionally a good choice - but that choice was made by an adoring grandfather who thought that the docs are taking care of ehr body and he was bringing 'food for her soul'.
Daddu was just trying to make her feel loved and precious - by getting hot hot samosas from her favourite shop and an by hoping it wud entice her to eat atleast a little something.

Sanchi looks more love-deprived to her family than food deprived. We know she's been faking it - but they don't! So Daddu did the cutest thing possible - by telling she means a lot to him and he got her - favourite food !

It was sweet - this doesn't make him a pig.

Regarding the glassware yours is a very valid point

I think even Sanchi's own family is aware that this suicide attempt was solely to phasaao Jagya and that there was no fear of her doing it again. But as for the hospital staff...I don't know. They should have. But logic is something I stopped looking for in the show.

If it wasn't for his pick up lines to Dadisa and his current stance I would love him. And yes yesterday was really sweet. I hate Sanchi even more when scenes like this come because she is duping the family who loves her so much

it is better not to talk about the logic in that scene.
Which hospital allows so many ppl in the patient's room?
Which hospital allows talking so loudly in the corridor?

Very informative post. Well researched. You are also giving ideas. Like stuffing 2 to 3 samosas.😆

I think these things are followed strictly in advanced countries or 5 star hospitals at metros.

In Udaipur Collectorsaab and his family can order anything and get away with it.

I guess the Doctor could make out her psychology behind suicide-its not a REAL suicide its a FAKE suicide-Jokes apart these days evrything on BV is beyond any COMMON SENSE!!!

No. Most of the hospitals in India are so unruly. Incubators fail, infants die, machines dont work.
