I feel Asif was never given that respect ever. i remember even during hs entry few days after when the Jannat side had to allot two people to send to Hell, that was the only time he expressed displeasure and was vocal about the voting process chosen by the housemates, during that incident as he was giving his POV we saw Shilpa trying hard to conceal her snigger.

Nobody took him seriously was often subjected to being ridiculed a lot of it had to do with his language barrier and the subsequent lack of articulation, his meek personality hasn't helped either. Armaan had no base to call him out, why the hell should Asif vote for him is he under some obligation? If Asif had any sense he wouldn't be sitting listening to him in the first place.
