Kumud trusts Pramad more than Saras and slaps Saras and asks him to leave. Kusum and Danny get furious seeing all this and Kusum fights with Kumud for insulting Saras who has always been by her side. She tells Kumud that Saras didn't ruin her life instead she was the one who ruined his life by forcibly calling him to Ratnanagari when he refused to marry her in the beginning. Kumari also supports Kusum saying that Saras has done so much for the family and that he does not deserve such humiliation. Badi Ma also says that it was wrong to insult him like this. Kumud gets upset hearing all this. Pramad pretends to feel bad for Kumud and decides to take her out.
On the other hand Saras is in so much pain but still decides to look out for Kumud as he knows the truth and feels that it is because of him that Kumud has to suffer all this. He calls Kusum and tells her everything and asks her to keep and eye on Pramad until he figures out how to expose him. Kusum asks him not to interfere in Kumud's life as she doesn't deserve his protection as at this point Kumud has dug out her own grave. Saras asks him not to say such things about her sister. Kusum gets angry thinking how can he love Kumud so much after how she insulted him but decides to help him. She tells him that Pramad has planned to take Kumud out. Saras decides to follow them.
Pramad takes Kumud out and shows his true self. He tells Kumud that she is fool to not listen to Saraswatichandra who loves her so much. He says that no one can change Pramad and laughs cruelly and Kalika joins him. Kumud is shocked to hear all this. She starts remembering Saras's words and regrets big time. Pramad and Kalika put their plan into action and push her off the cliff. They laugh cruelly and leave without a clue that Saras is right there hiding behind a tree recording all this.
After they leave Saras quickly comes out and calls out for Kumud. He goes to the edge of the cliff and sees Kumud hanging from a branch. He pulls her up. She is shocked to see him there and just hugs him and starts crying. He doesn't hug her back. Instead he pulls her away from himself and starts scolding her for believing Pramad blindly. She looks down and listens to him. Saras shows her the recorded video and asks her to take it to the police. She refuses and says that there is something she needs to do before she goes to the police and asks him to help her for the last time. Saras agrees.
Pramad goes home and tells everyone that Saras took Kumud and accuses him for his broken marriage with Kumud. Suddenly the lights go off and the recording starts playing in the tv. Everyone is shocked to see all this. Pramad is stoned and starts saying this is a lie and accuses Kumud and Saras. The lights turn back on and wounded Kumud and Saras enter and Kumud yells at Pramad for cheating her and her family like this. Buddhidhan goes and slaps Pramad and asks Alak to call the police. Saubhagyadevi tells her to stop. Everyone is shocked and Buddhidhan is about to say something but she shows him the hand and signs him to stay quiet. She goes to Pramad and says that she has always supported him because she loves him so much and slaps him. She says that she regrets supporting him and says that if she had slapped him like this before Kumud wouldn't be in so much pain. The police arrives and arrests Pramad for domestic violence and attempted murder. Buddhidhan and his family apologize to the Desais and leave.
Badi ma and the family hug Kumud. She cries for a while and then looks around and sees Saras leaving. She goes to him and hold his hand and apologizes. He gets angry and holds her from the shoulders and asks her what would have happened to him if something happened to her. He says that all he wanted was her to be safe and happy wherever she be but she is too stubborn to listen to anyone else. She says that she didn't listen to him and that's why all this happened to her. She admits that she should have waited for him and breaks down. He looks at her and melts down. He wipes her tears. She feels relieved when he touches her face, holds his hand, and hugs him tight. He hugs her back and everyone get smiles on their faces. After a while Kumari can't control herself and runs to them and hugs them followed by Danny and then Kusum. They have this group hug for a while and then they separate. Vidyachatur goes to Saras and hugs him followed by Badi Ma. Guniyal asks them to go inside and take rest.
