Shah Rukh Khan As Gujarati Don!

MUMBAI: Shah Rukh Khan and Farhan Akhtar go a long way. Their first movie together was Don in 2006 and then it's sequel Don 2.

For a Rahul Dholakia project, Farhan Akhtar will be teaming up with Shah Rukh Khan where the superstar will be playing a Gujarati Don.

Farhan Akhtar and his partner Ritesh Sidhwani will be producing the film under their home banner Excel Entertainment Pvt. Ltd.

It is confirmed that SRK will step into the role of Don with a different touch this time, and he is excited about the film but yet to work out the schedule as he has prior commitments, Ritesh said.

"With the Don franchise, it is important that we have an exciting script in hand so we want be happy while doing it," he added.

The film is under scripting stage.

Priyanka Chopra was the lead actress in SRK's Don and Don 2 but its not yet known whether the makers will repeat her or they will have a new pairing.
