Ira was way way WAY out of line coming to Jaitser to beg him to accept her daughter and brush away her rant as bachpana and slap him when he didn't see it quite her way.

But here - too many people were also wrong. Bhairon allows Sumi to rant at home but outside - he controls when he thinks he absolutely needs to. And the best part about him bringing them all to the temple was - he made them witness Jagya's wedding and let everybody know he was in favor it and he blessed them and DS knows she can't order him about like she can Basant.

But the whole Shekhar lot are crazy. Daddu leads from the front. When the eldest member is so stupid - what can a poor lonely ChhotiMa do ?Alok rants and screams, Ira screams - Sanchi turns into a total drama queen and Mahi is all testosterone. To the extent that now - Shiv too - is pulled into the entire drama and is behaving accordingly. Though - to his credit - the poor guy did not have the benefit of all the data his loving , pallu wearing, wifey has been keeping from them all.

Ira has always been almost a little scared of upsetting and more inclined to pampering her Barbie than disciplining her. And trust me - had Bhairon had that talk with Jagya earlier - she cudn't have gotten away with slapping him that day.

Shekhars/Anandi/Sumi/DS have screamed enuf about Sanchi's love and her pain - but just watch how bhairon will take care of his bahu and his son and the injustice done to them.

I am honestly feeling that Gauri was an ingrate yes - but she used her resources and hard work and ambition in the fullest manner with great results. True - her skewed parents skewed upbringing messed with her total lack of conscience but she became an educated independent girl with lots to offer back to the society.

By contrast - Anandi had so much support from Bhairon (am talking after J left and A ditched Bilaria) and yet - she neither did MBBS or IAS or anything. Just did some sarpanchi and lectured around and taught at her school that Phooli and Gulli were also able to do.

Some of Sanchi's accusations weren't all wrong. when A was in BH, she spent half the time in the kitchen - but when she left - did the BH stop eating good food ? KB had a perfectly good cook and her MILs themselves neither went in nor expected her to do anything - but still - she insisted on her pallu and ghagra and is constantly seen with a tray in her hand !!!

Bhairon wasted all his love, care, morale boosting, honesty, courage - hand holding to get her a divorce---- everything on her. A was always content being a doormat and has again slid back into that role. She had the chance to become much much more - but Bhairon's efforts on her got totally wasted.

sumi has always gone lado lado for her - but Bhairoon was the one who gave her a spine. So its sad to see A become the ungrateful stranger more than Gauri.
