Blame the network
This is an interesting tale of cat and mouse. After ex-flame Ranbir Kapoor openly declared that he would do anything for Katrina', a certain miss Padukone was reportedly miffed enough to call off a shoot and come to Bangalore instead. While her team in Mumbai
was trying to cover up for the leggy lass saying she was unwell and resting, a journalist called her on her private number which was busy. The giveaway that she was out of town, however, was an automatically relayed message by the service provider...in Kannada, not Marathi. When the reporter called Deepika's agent in Mumbai to complain about the cover-up, daddy dearest Prakash called the service provider and gave them a shelling. Reason? A celebrity's number and location should be kept private at all times. But apparently that's not possible. Looks like even the likes of Ms Padukone cannot change the rules set by network messaging, which are region specific.
