If you could choose the gender....

If you could choose the gender of your baby...would that be a good thing? what would be the disadvatages? what if you could choose the eye and hair color of your baby...what if you could choose the race of ur baby? what if you could choose all the features of your baby? would that be a good thing? What would be the disadvantages? and advantages...here is what i came up with:

Advantages:

• You get the baby of your choice😕
• If the parents want a certain gender they can choose it
• may make them "love" the baby more?

Disadvantages:

• You could extinct or change races...
• You could extinct a certain gender
• If there were all male or females - no more reproduction could lead to extinction of humans

Why Mess with Mother Nature 😳 😛

If people were able to choose the gender of their baby.. It would be TERRIBLE. I swear there would be more boys than girls. For the race, hair color, gender, etc. I wouldn't care.. People should be thankful for what they have.. Who cares if a baby is a blonde/redhead, has brown eyes/green, etc.?

Designer babies are a reality already. Read few months ago sperm donor 32 had fathered almost ten children... Interested parents can buy sperms from elite bank where the donors are good looking, highly educated, have succesful carreer etc...
they have yet to study on outcome of the offsprings to see if the kids inherited most or none of the qualities of the father. 😕

I would still never choose.
Even the thought is disgusting and it is painful to know how several communities are actually involved in selective foetecide (especially in asia)
Mother Nature will set the equation straight one day.

I dunt think that we have any right to choose our babies. This would increase the discrimination in society. God thinks for all of us, and whatever the baby might be, god must have thought something and given it to us. Having a baby is god's biggest blessing and we have no right to tamper with it. And for all those people who want to, i feel that they are doing a crime. Because whatever the baby might be, male/female, black/white, its ur baby. 😊

i would'nt even think about choosing the sex or the hair color or anything like that.Its like messing up with what God wants to give you.

I see no difference between girl or boy but whenever time comes would prefer girly... later a boy to complete family and full stop.

If people were able to pick the gender, boy mother nature would have been real upset and pralay would have come soon.

Edit - forgot BTW there are books and intructions that claims you can decide gender if some stuff followed, don't know how true.. but has anyone read thoeses????
