Taiji took Geet in to the back yard.It was a huge area.there was a room in the isolation She showed geet the room.

Taiji-Geet don't think that I m doing this to take out my frustrations on you or I m angry on you. This is custom. And this is in favor of you. See Now your husband is no more so you will not have anyone whom you can ask for every demand .So it's better to reduce your demands. It will help you in controlling your heart and mind.These customs are set by our encestors ,so all have to follow those. In village women have to spend their whole life like this only but this is big city no one can follow them so you have to follow only for one month.yahaan zaroorat ka saara samaan hai .agar roti banaane me problem ho to khichdi bana ke kha lena.

Geet was inspecting the room without any emotion.it was a room which was used for storing the useless items.A fan was hanging on the roof.A single burner gas stove was kept .some utensils for cooking and eating. Some small containers were there too.which had raw food like dal rice and flour.two pairs of white clothes too were kept there for her.

When geet was looking at this. Taiji was thinking-Geet I will throw you out of this house , but not so easily. Just one day you will yourself ask to go from here. Jab se tum aayi yahaan iss ghar ke to rang dhang hi badal diye tumne. Sabke dil me apne liye jagah bana li.wo bhi bina kuchh kiye.ab dekhna tumhaari kismet kaise badalti hai.And I think God is too with me that Maan has left the house and no one in this house can say a word to me. God has provided me another chance to turn my dream in reality. I know that you don't know how to cook .you have been brought up in a royal style. I m sure you will step back soon from performing these rituals. Ram and priya know that these are the real rituals in our village so they too can't say that I m taking my anger on you.(to Geet) sab theek hai na Geet. One more thing don't try to come in side of the house it will make you weak.I will send a servant daily to you .If you need anything just tell him.

Geet nodded and taiji was going to left from there and she heard Geet's voice-Taiji

And Taiji smirked-ye lo ye to jung ladne se pahle hi jaar gayi. I think she is going to back out. Chalo achchha hai musibat jitni jaldi bhaage utna achchha.

She turned and asked-kya hua?

Geet - taiji ... wo khichdi ...kaise banaate hain?

Taiji- (ST) pakki jaan hai. Itni aasaani se nahin tutegi.(To geet) arrey bahut aasaan hai. Dal chawal millao .pani se dho kar usme paani aur namak daalo aur boil kar lo.

Geet nodded and taiji left.she reached in side .priya came to her-Taiji please rasm hi to nibhaani hai ti aaj ka din hi kaafi hai. She doesn't know how to cook.

Taiji- to isme hamaari galati nahin hai. Uski maa ki hai jo aise hi apni beti ko kore kagaz ki tarah bhej diya.ab uski kismat hi aisi hai to hum kya Karen.and she went in to her room.

Ram and Anie were there to console Priya.

Priya-Ram please kuchh karo. Geet ko kuchh ho gaya to.

Ram was feeling helpless as he was unable to decide whom he should support. Geet was already agree for all that so he couldn't say that she was not capable to do so.

. Anie was trying Maan's phone again and again but it was switched off. Priya was already sick and she couldn't take it more and fell on the ground. Ram and Anie helped her to reach her bed.Anie gave her the medicine but she denied and Ram said-Priya we are already in trouble .please don't increase them.and he forced her to take the medicines.

He was now angry on himself for not denying taiji and On Maan for leaving house like a person who had lost the battle.

Maan was sitting in some isolated place. He was lying on the grass with her closed eyes. He was thinking about their life- The time he spent with yash . Anie came in their life some years later. Both brother had fight on some issue in childhood as it was very normal between two siblings. Gradually those fights went on reducing and friendship started to grow between them. They were the talk of the college. They joined office same day. Their cabin were same just like the twin rooms.Then Geet and Arpita entered their life.Arpita and he started their life. They accepted each other well as Arpita was a good wife.She never gave a chance to complain. They were physically one as it always happens in an arranged marriage. They were moving very slow in their relation. They were getting less time as a couple. Relation hadn't entered in the hearts.They didn't even express their love to each other.Relation hadn't touch that level where he could say his wife those three magical words-I LOVE YOU.

Yash was his friend more that a brother and he got another friend in the form of Geet. Both brothers were twins so there was no elder or younger.Geet got mixed well in the family. He remembered the first night when Anie played a prank on them for exchanging the brides and Geet was like she wasn't going to listen to any one.She was such a dramatic.that he gave her the name-Toofaan Mail, which was beyond control and Maan like this quality in her.At the beginning yash was very disturbed as he was very disciplined and less talkative. But Geet had that power which changed his brother too. Their relations were more like the friends than husband and wife. He always adored their relations.

Maan was remembering their happy life and scenes were moving like the movie in front of his eyes.Geet and Arpita's first rasoi and he spilled the beans by trapping Geet in his trick.And Taiji's scoldings. He really felt bad that day.Geet's effort to adjust yash's collar and taiji's taunt and then his own effort by putting his tie at the wrong place. He wanted Arpita to behave like Geet behaved with yash.but Arpita was Arpita always a scared cat in front of Taiji.

Then Holi- It was a memorable one which can not be forgotten ever and ever. While thinking about holi maan lips curved in to a smile. How Geet and Anie painted them in raavan and kans faces. Then the brothers' revenge. Geet was so confused to see them hidden behind colors but again he himself pushed geet's wrong nerve by challenging her and how she made them to feel all embarrassed.

Their outing- Boring movie, Anie and Rahul were caught there. How Geet defined the Five Star hotel in a unique way and then Dinner at dhaba.There were so happy memories to cherish for ever but the life always betrays us.

Then those fateful incidents happened. Arpita's cousin's marriage. Her spending the time at her parent's house. Then her helplessness in reaching Meeraut on time and then he recalled his last conversation with yash

Flashback

Yash-Maan you don't get tensed. I will go to Meerut to take Arpita. Right m now I m in an important meeting and today it's not possible for me to go , but I assure you that tomorrow morning I will be there to pick Arpita. You inform her.

Maan- Are you sure? Sorry yash for that inconvenience

Yash-Off course. Aur sorry kyun. Meri jagah agar tu hota aur Geet ko teri zaroorat hoti to tu nahin karta kya uske liye?

Maan- kyun nahin .. zaroor karta.

Yash- to phi raise kyun kah raha hai.

And maan snapped open his eyes. He promised yash that he would be there for Geet whenever she needed him.Today he forgot his promise and ran away from all in his guilt.geet too is sailing in the same boat.

Maan-(ST)How can you do such a blunder maan. You are not the only one who is in pain ,every one at home is in pain.Maa,papa,Anie and Geet.How could you be so selfish to think only about yourself.You will have to go back Maan.Geet too is passing through the same phase of pain. She too could run away from there for ever but she decided to stay with the family at this hard time.You are a man still came running from there.

Geet's face came infront of his eyes and he again thought-But how will I face her.All happened because of me and Arpita.Yash aur Geet ki kya galati thi. But mind again scolded him-If you think yourself responsible, then go ahead and fulfill your responsibility which yash has left upon you. Your family needs you.You can repent later this is not the right time for that.This is the time when you need to be stronger to take care of your family.apni maa ke baare me socho ek beta duniya chod kar chala gaya aur doosra muh chhupa kar bhaag aaya.You are a man Maan so behave like a man only.

And Maan got up from the place and moved in side to take his luggage.but he had to wait for some time as it was night and his car didn't contain enough fuel . There was no fuel station on the was which provided night services.

Taiji in her room was looking satisfied with her act. Though it was a tradition to be followed by the widows in their community but she could consider Geet's age and her incapability to cook food, but she had some motif now.Her long dead dream had started to breathe again.her foresightedness could see Geet as an obstacle in her dream.

Taiji-(ST) Geet hum jaante hain ki ye samay tumhaare liye nark se kam nahin hai. Par humen karna hi padega.iss ghar ke logon me himmat nahin hai hamaare ssamne muh kholne ki .Hum chahte hain ki jald se jald tum iss ghar ko chhod kar chali jaao. Issiliye hamne tumhaari maa ke saath nahin bheja tumhen.kyunki tab to tum do chaar din me waapis aa jati. Lekin iss baar tum jaaogi to kabhi nahin lautne ke liye.abhi to josh hai, himmat hai tumhaare andar. Do chaar din me jab bhookhi marogi to khud hi yahaan se jaane ke liye kahogi aur hum tumhaare lautne ks saare raaste band kar denge.Agar aisa nahin hua to hamaara naam bhi Lalita nahin ( Wow I have given her a name-Lalita -(pawaar??) )And she smirked at her own smartness. She was feeling very contended at het act.She slept peacefully in her bed.

Ram and Priya were in their room.

Priya was very sad.She was feeling herself so helpless.

Priya-Ram why we are so helpless. Why we can't say a word to taiji.

Ram held priya's hand-Priya you think that I m feeling good for all this. Maan ki baat alag hai.Agar hum geet ka favor karte hain to hamaare saath saath Geet ko bhi Taiji hamesha curse karengi. hamesha usko tedhi nazron se hi dekhengi. After all Geet too has to spend her life here. Once she is out of this mess All will be fine. I m silent only for our children.I m not in the situation to choose one of them.Dono hi mere apne hain priya.Taiji ko bhi iss age me main ye ahsaas nahin dilana chahta ki ye unka pariwaar nahin hai.I know Geet has to bear a lot for this but I know she will understand our situation too. kuchh din ki baat hai. Let Maan come.He is young blood and taiji can not blame geet for any thing as it will be the act of Maan. I m sure he will not allow all that.

Priya- Ram she doesn't know how to cook ?How will she survive ?

Ram- hum hain na usko khana khilaane ke liye. I have given this responsibility to our servants . They will take care of her.bas bhagwaan se pray karo ki maan jaldi aa jaaye.

Though Ram and Priya lived in city but they were taught to respect the elder and they were doing that only but these two of simple hearts didn't know that whom they were giving the respect, wasn't at all worthy of that respect. She was was planning some evil plans against her own family in the name of traditions.

Anie called Rahul-Rahul I m sorry. I couldn't keep my promise. Main nahin rakh paayi bhabhhi ka dhyaan.

Rahul-what happened Anie. Kya hua Geet ko. Is she alright?

Anie told him about what ever happened there. Listening to all that crap Rahul's blood boiled and he told Anie to wait for him. He came down .Sudha and Gautam were still in the hall. They saw Rahul going out at that time.

Gautam-Rahul kahaan ja rahe ho itni raat ko?

Rahul-To bring my sister out of that hell.

Sudha-what do you mean Rahul?

Rahul-Mamma you know Taiji has kept Geet in the back yard room to live alone for a month . that too without any help.Mamma she will die there.wo princess ki tarah rahi hai ab tak.kaise manage karegi? I can't leave her there for a minute .

Sudha- Aur uske baad kya karoge rahul. Aaj tum Geet ko le aaoge, magar taiji uss ghar ke darwaaze uske liye hamesha ko band kar dengi.

Rahul-So what mamma .Ye ghar bhi to ussi ka hai na.thode din me hum uski dobara shadi kar denge mamma.She will be happy again.

Sudha-aur in sab faislon me Geet ka kya ? wo kya chahti hai kahaan rahna chahti hai ye uska faisla hona chahiye rahul.aur doosri shadi kya itni aasan hai .Wo judh chuki hai uss ghar se.Aaj usse apni janm dene wali maa se jyada apni uss maa ki fikr hai jisne uske pati ko janm diya.ladki ke liye aasan nahin doosri shadi karna.Mushkil hota hai baar baar puraane rishton ko tod kar naye ristion me judna. Pahle apne maa baap se rishta tod kar sasuraal me naye rishte banana ek chunauti hoti hai. Ab jin rishton me wo puri tarah sa bandh gayi thi phir se ek baar un ko tod kar naye rishte banaana khel nahin hai Rahul.Geet toot gayi hai Rahul .ab tum uski zindgi me intefere karke usho bikharne mat do. Geet ke liye ye mushkil waqt hai Rahul.aur yahi mushkil waqt usko zindgi se ladne ki takat dega.Mujhe uss ghar ke logon par pura bharosa hai. Wo meri beti ko bikharne nahin denge.

Gautam-Rahul I know you love Geet a lot. We too love her, she is our life.But she too has a right to live the way she wants.

Rahul-but papa...

Sudha-Rahul please.don't tear up her in two parts beta.Don't ask her to chose one family. She is not in the right set of her mind

And rahul left for his room .he twisted his hands in to the fists to control his anger plus helplessness for not doing any thing for his sister.

A servant reached in the backyard after ensuring that taiji was in her room.He went there with food as Ram orderd them to take care of Geet.

Servant-Bhabhi . Aapke loye khana laya hoon.bade sahab ji na kaha hai aap ko khana dene ke liye.

Geet smiled to see the care of her inlaws-Suresh. Thank u for the food.But I can't take this.Ye food lekar main kisi aur ko nahin apne aap ko hi cheat karungi.I know I will find it very difficult but I will manage. Kuchh hi dino ki to baat hai. Aur is bahane main bhi kaam karna seekh loongi. Aap log chinta mat kariye.bas ek request hai aapse. Maa papa ka dhyaan rakhna.

Suresh was having tears in his eyes to see her in that state.He retured with the food and informed Ram about it. Ram was sad to know that Geet had returned the food and thought-Geet I respect your decision but mujhe bahut khushi hoti agar tum khane kha leti. kam se kam mujhe iss baat ki tasalli rahti ki main tumhaare liye kuchh kar paya.Now I can only pray God to end your problems soon.I have full faith in God and I know he is not too cuel towards us as we have already faced too much .

No one in the both houses slept that night except taiji who was feeling herself victosious that day.

It was Five in the morning and Maan started his car to left for the house.The journey was for more than three hours . In the way he got the fuel for the car and reached KM. It was around 9'0 clock in the morning.
