How expensive is cable?

Hello Guys

Perhaps this is not the best place to post...but anyway I was wondering whats the cost of getting indian cable in different countries...

In Aust its 4 channels Sony, Zee tv, Zee Cinema and Star. They charge AU$400 to set up and AU$49.95 per month,...

but I think its worth it...I started disliking aussie tv. The soaps reveal stuff in like 6 months lol...its so boring...anyways what about where you all live?

well here in Singapore SONY + STAR + ZEE package with 3basic group costs 40$. If you want only one channel then each costs 8$ + 20 for basic group. So let's say for two hindi channel + 3basic group will cost 36$ + 5% GST.

And 3basic groups are compulsory which consists of 9-10 channels like Discovery, NGC, BBC,CNN, Star World etc.

There is no setup fee. But if you are not Singapore citizen or PR then you need to put $250/- refundable deposit for set top box with cable service provider.

All the prices are in Singapore Dollar.
