You have confusion for maan behavior. Why he talk sweetly with geet, if he is not happy with this marriage.

Friends this is true, he is not happy for this marriage, but he is happy for his family, and one more important talk, geet is his friend, so he talk friendly with her as friend not lover or nor boy friend type.

He talks with geet as friend, she is his childhood friend, and both learn together, play together, And, in conversation both talking about old memories, any have not talk about marriage & after future planning's.
