Up until now, I find Shiv quite normal in his behaviour. He is too shocked and taken aback to react to anyone or anything. He was not happy when Sa pushed A, but that matter was not as big as Sa's devastated state & J's betrayal that he could give it a priority and start lecturing Sa on how to behave with her bhabhi.

Besides, as a husband Shiv sub-consciously knows that A will not mind this or make it an issue, because she also understands Sa's state of mind.

He did not protest against Ira when she asked A to make a choice, because that was not the right time. His family was too hurt by J's actions that there was no room for internal conflicts i.e. Shekhars vs Shekhars. At that time, it was wise of A to choose her sasra over her maika and for Shiv to be a son/brother than a husband.

The storm in Shekhar family has not stopped yet. No one has calmed down. Shiv too is trying to gain a grip over himself. At this point he is not the calm rationale collector of Udaipur, but a broken heart brother who is feeling his sister's loss. Sub-consciously he knows he can make up with his wife any day. They have their relationship to that level. He is not purposely de-meaning Anandi. It's just that Anandi is not his priority right now. In fact, he needs his wife more to give him that solace and comfort rather than him solving her matters. So it's Anandi's turn to not only wipe her own tears but also to provide comfort to Shiv and bring him out of this state.

However, going further if Shiv teams up with his mom & sis and puts allegations on A then that would be wrong. But if A chooses to support J-G, then I wouldn't mind Shiv standing up for his family. He can support his while she can support hers. And both will be fair.
