@ ranitha: In Anandi's case she has a valid argument. They are blaming her for not warning them, she did warn them. Tell that to their face , find her spine which has miraculously disappeared and tell Shiv that she was not his charity case. She is a strong independent woman who was the topper of her batch, she can go to Khajan Saab's house and start her own life. Or ignore the Shekhar ravings and continue at KB with her own activities.
Being an educated woman , Anandi...knowing fully well about the laws ,regulations ...policies & procedures...she has to display her endearing qualities first...which might make her more acceptable...more lovable...more adorable !!Later she has that capability and guts to question their decisions...!

anandi allows them to do so because she believes that at any cost she should support sasra as she will not allow her individual ego to break up an institution she holds dearly to her heart.

Even dadisa will not approve if anandi behaves like a normal modern bahu who wont take all this nonsense and walks out in a huff.

So we have to accept anandi as she is and just watch the tamasha.

Same with ganga. Ganga wont open her mouth even if sumitra insults her to the hilt. And Jagya wont approve if ganga starts to open her mouth and answers back. And ganga is a spirited person unlike anandi but unfortunately her marriage to Jagya wont allow her to walk out in a huff. She will be the eternal ideal bahu who will swallow insults for the sake of her husband and just cry. We have to accept her as she is and watch her cry.

In serials, good bahus are like that only, we have to accept and praise their greatness, compare them with Sanchi and Gauri and say only Anandi and Ganga are suitable for marriage.

I think both are extreme cases. One is too good and the other is too bad. Real people are somewhere in between.

Actually we are not praising them. Many of us are angry with them.
