Ratan was ready to do it, anyway! It was Kamya aho was discouraging her and Pratusha. Also, Gauhar and Kushal wants Ratan to come to heaven than any other girls so it was bit strategic from their point of view.

Exactly, if they said before ratan finalized to do the task that would have been encouragement. Saying it after ratan decided to do the task looked oppurtunistic. .

everyone was saying for a girl not to do it and Ratan may have been side lined but Gauhar-Kushal just told her not to get pushed over and fight if she wants to do it! it's still encouraging her...
