i think he genuinely liked ganga. when she was going back to mahadeva, he actually wanted to stop her but the other person stopped him. OH POOR HIM...😆

i saw tears in his eyes, very little so i thought that. but...whatever...and the way he went ahead to stop her from going to mahadeva, so ... and afterall he proposed her so definitely he liked her. 😆
