Part 12

Astha totally broken and drained reaches the hospital and gauri sees her

"Astha.. astha.. where were u" screams gauri.

Astha looks at her teary eyed.. " whats the matter gauri"

" I have been calling you from a long time. Your mom's condition has worsened. They shifted her to the ICU.."

"What !!!" astha is shocked and starts running towards the ICU and sees from outside.. she tries to open the door but she is not allowed..

" relax astha everything will be ok" Gauri is in tears seeing all this.

"What do I do gauri. Dad cant be bailed and mom is in this condition"

Gauri holds astha as she cries in her arms... "Please relax astha..i am with u"

Gauri is shocked " what are u saying ??? Shlok asked u to marry him.. but why?"

Astha is teary eyed " I don't know whats in his mind.. but everything that is happening is due to him.. I don't want him to harm my family any further Gauri.. I don't know what to do"

" no astha u wont budge in front of him.. u cant give him the pleasure of hurting you and winning" gauri sternly tells astha

" I don't have a choice now. Do I? my parents have done every thing for me till date and I there is anything I can do to protect them I will have to do" astha says in tears

" we will try to find a good lawyer.. don't make this decision in a hurry astha.."

Astha gets up and takes her bag " gauri please be here and take care of my mom .. whatever from here on will be done by me only"

Astha starts to walk out of the hospital... She keeps getting images of her beaten up father and mother in the hospital bed and tears flow out of her eyes as she keeps walking.. Astha is like a living dead now..

Astha reaches Agnihotri mansion.. Shlok was sitting right there in the hall..

" welcome astha.. I knew u would be on your way" taunts shlok

" why did u get my father beaten up shlok" she says in anger

"u did not take me words into your ears and brain so.. I had to make u understand in my own better words"smirks shlok

" what do u want shlok" astha asks helplessly

"marry me astha.." shlok says in a harsh tone sqeezing her arms

" marry u and... Why d u want to marry me.. u want to revenge.. I am here in front of u.. do whatever u want shlok" says astha tearfully and helplessly

" hahaha what do u think of me.. u have just one choice marry me that's it.. what else I want from you u I will tell u later.. u have to decide fast.. I don't have time and if I run out of time then ur parents will run out of their life too"

Astha holds her god pendant in the neck and shakes her head and says yes to shlok.. " I will marry u shlok.. but I have one condition.. my dad shouldn't get even a single scratch from anyone.. and my mother needs to be taken care of too.."

" don't worry.. I have made all arrangements"

Shlok picks up a cover and hands it over to astha.. "get ready.. the pujari is waiting at the temple for us"

Astha picks up the cover and starts walking towards a room

Astha is dressed as a bride.. she looks at herself in the mirror with tears and rememembers her conversation with gauri ..

It was the same shlok she loved and considered as a person she would ever marry.. but now !!! everything is happening in the most wrong way..

What has destiny written for me astha thinks... just then shlok comes there.. " are u ready? Lets go.."

Astha walks down and shlok sees her... She is looking mesmerisingly beautiful.. Shlok couldn't stop seeing her.. but then he turns of his face " lets go.. get into the car" he says firmly

Astha walks behind shlok to the car and gets into it..

The car drives away.. Astha keeps looking at the mirror in disbelief about what ever is happening..

They reach the temple..

Astha and Shlok walk into the temple where the entire wedding set up is ready..

Astha and Shlok sit in the altar and the pujari performs the wedding rituals..

Shlok ties the mangalsutra to astha and take the 7 rounds of the fire completing their marriage..

They take pujaris blessings and the pujari leaves announcing them man and wife

Shlok turns to astha and says " u have a new chapter of ur life from today.. U have 2 roles to play ... firsly my dutiful wife and secondly u get back ur job at my office as my personal assistant.. 24/7 u will be with me"

Astha looks at shlok in disbelief

Shlok holds astha's arm and leavesto the car.. Astha just walks like a dead person with shlok in disbelief

Omg , a gr8 update , i loved it , poor aastha, and they r married, intresting. They loves eachother ,but base f their marriage s hate, only hate .so excited for d next part. Update t soon and pls pm me :-)
