Ruqu once again ignores MA's shrewd advice regarding Jodha. Ruqu has saved Jodha many times now and MA has warned Ruqu about it. But, Ruqu refuses to see and believe what is coming. She refuses to believe that Jalal is changing. If only she would set her pride aside, she could see how Jalal has bended many times for Jodha. She would have noticed how Jalal without any hesitation agreed to Mynavati's request of letting Jodha stay in Agra. She ignores the fact that Jalal for the first time apologized in front of everyone to Jodha and her brothers. As Maham pointed out how Jalal for the first time let anyone practice her own religion, set up a temple and also celebrate their festival. Ruqu has been the only one for many years that has holded Jalal's interest. She has seen numerous times how other begums have come and not had any effect on Jalal. She does not get scared of Jodha because of the same reasons and thinks that Jodha not wanting Shenshah relieves her further. Its not like Ruqu has not had doubts about Shenshah's intention. She has questioned Jalal many times about it and has only received superficial responses. Ruqu chose to take Jalal's evading responses as her pride does not allow her to think deeper.
The whole palace finds out that Jodha is missing. RT was superb in showing his anxiety, anger and restlessness. His doubts about Jodha's state of mind are confirmed further by Motibai. She is scared about her sakhi and requests Shenshah to find her. I was waiting for the 'Jalal yelling at Jodha' scene. I don't think I have waited for Mohan this much also. It has been bothering me and many forum wasis on how Jodha's character has been butchered by CVs lately. I was hoping that Ekta would revive it after the suicide and after Jalal's furious speech to Jodha. He finally lets Jodha know that she is the one who started the hatred track. I was literally jumping and applauding. She is the one who put her hand in Lions mouth and expected not to be bitten. Jodha although you will soon realize its okay to be bitten by Jalal, oops I meant smitten by him. She always talks about her Amer's 'Aan Baan Shaan'. But, did she even for once think about her husband's garima or that other people want the same things. Jalal is right in reminding her that he would never let his hatred for her overpower his respect and honor for Mughal Sultanat. Jodha has no answers to any of his questions. To some extent she had already heard her inner conscience remind her of how her wishes were all honored by Jalal.
You are getting affected though Jalal, as you admitted that you hate her eyes that look at you with many questions, demanding your answers. Do those eyes make you feel guilty? Does it bother you that her eyes and speech only include hatred for you? You would not be affected as much had those eyes not touched your heart or your soul. But, they have and we see it many times how you flinch everytime Ruqu says Jodha hates you. I was happy to finally see the Shenshah/pati in command though. Don't get me wrong girls I am not the kind who likes MCPs. But, in this case Jodha deserved the bashing and needed someone to show her a mirror. I don't know how much of it Jodha understood, would love to see a scene tomorrow where she recollects Jalal's dialogs.
Who is going to be the lucky begum that will accompany the shehansha to Ajmer Sharif? Ruqu find out about it accidentally and is going to try her best to change circumstances so that she gets chosen. She does not have the power though to change someone else's destiny. Ruqu is going to see another defeat when she finds out that Jodha turns out to be lucky begum. I can't wait to see the color run out of her face when she finds out. But, I am sure her pride will put this off also as a small yatra that will not change anything between Akdha. MA is going to be scared though, rightfully worried about the proximity between Akdha and how it might change their relationship.
Precap: Jodha back with her one liners, girl will you ever chill down and leave Jalal in peace!
