The guy was a macho man and the girl a demure and innocent girl with very strong principles. That is the new season of "Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon- Ek Baar Phir". It's pure, simple, unadulterated romance!

Shlok and Astha

A callous and money hungry male protagonist is played by Avinash Sachdev who plays the high-headed, angry young man Shlok Agnihotri. The female lead is Shrenu Parikh or Astha Kirloskar who is a liberal minded girl with a passion for maintaining relations and helping people.

Astha lies and takes her older generation friends for a show under a false pretence. She makes her friends sit in an area booked by Shlok and says that she is a rich girl. Her main reason behind this action was to give happiness to the aged ladies but she later goes to Shlok to apologize for her action. Furious at her deception, he hollers at her and loses his temper saying that he hates liars. Her repeated apologies fall on deaf ears as he grabs her hands hard and breaks her bangles threatening her that her action has cost him crores of rupees. In a fit of injuries and hurt she yells at him that he is a devil reincarnate.

The two get into a sparring match once again when Shlok climbs aboard a local train as his car gets spoiled. Shlok is forced to get off at another station that is not his destination, as he loses his purse. Coincidentally, Astha finds his wallet and when she returns it, Shlok misunderstands that she had purposely done this to trouble him. He swears revenge.

No marriage

Astha comes over to Anjali Niwas bringing along her father's file and gets face to face with Shlok as she enters his room to catch the phone signal. Seeing her stand in his bedroom, Shlok gets into a furious tizzy and starts to holler at her angrily.

In yet another encounter with Shlok at his college campus, Astha blames him for sacking a student. The whole incident is made public and it adds fuel to Shlok's fire when he has to reinstate the student back in his college due to Astha's meddling.

Shlok is desperate to get access to a "Vridashram" to start a college. These are the same friends that Astha had taken to the show. He starts to target them and decides to throw them out. A soft-hearted girl Astha is unable to bear her friends losing their homes. She begs and pleads Shlok for some understanding but he stands stiff and unbudged.

Things take a pleasant turn when Shlok gifts the land back to the old ladies and Astha breaks into tears of relief. Shlok is surely surprised at Astha's tenderness but is unaware of how enamored he is getting with her. A proposal for Shlok and Astha's marriage is turned down by Astha as she has problems with Shlok's rigid and stubborn hard-heartedness.

Shlok decides to teach her a lesson and manipulates Astha to take up a job at his friend's office. The two are constantly thrown together and one fine day Astha is forced to experience terror at the hands of a leering auto rickshaw driver. Shlok saves her in time and takes a very obligated and thankful Astha back home.

Caught in a room together

Somehow Shlok manipulates Astha to go for a pooja with him to Kolhapur and they are forced to take shelter in a hotel. Enamored by Astha's beauty, Shlok burns his hand and Astha tends to him .Seeing the soft and caring Astha, Shlok is reminded of a girl in his past .

As if a demon takes over him he starts to hold her by the arms, shakes her crazy, and yells at her that she has designs on him. He tells her that she is purposely trying to come closer to him . Holding her by her arms, he shakes the daylights out of Astha, forcing her to blurt out tearfully that he is an arrogant beast with no feelings.

Stunned by his yelling, ranting and raving, a petrified Astha tells him that he can only break things and ruin lives with his pompous attitude and that she will try to even stay away from his shadow. Her comment hits him like a shard and he starts to behave like a mad man!

Wowe , folks volatile and fury laden sparks with a fantastic sizzling chemistry between Shlok and Astha makes one desire that the episode should never end!
