He may be down with a severe bout of dengue but he is definitely not out. Though Ranveer Singh is currently hospitalized and is currently recuperating, he is keeping constant tabs on response to his newly released dance number 'Tattad Tattad' from RAM-LEELA. Meanwhile, even as the music of the film is all set to be officially launched, Ranveer is curious to know how audience reacts to other songs in the album.


"To say that he is playing his most 'bindaas' character till date, even more than the one in BAND BAAJA BAARAAT, would be stating the obvious. From the very first promo it has been crystal clear that Ranveer has gone totally all out for RAM LEELA. Hence it is ironic that currently his energy has been diluted due to his illness. Just when it was time for him to paint the town red and make noise around RAM LEELA, Ranveer is required to lie low and retain his energy so as to be back in action soon," says a friend of the actor.

Mentally though Ranveer continues to be agile as ever and in his characteristic jovial mood. Willing to fight off his illness and maintaining his composure, Ranveer is fighting his illness with his chin up.

"He has to," the friend adds, "He is hardly the kind of person who can lie low for long. He is raring to get back into all the action. Though menace of dengue is well known, there have been instances of people recovering from it in a matter of five days itself. It is already this long so don't be surprised if he hits the stage with vengeance and resumes the campaign."

Now that could well be music to ears of Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Sunil Lulla who have elaborate marketing and promotional plans lined up for RAM-LEELA en route to its 15th November release.
