Sweeties - I see loads of you very worried about mission pink and IF ranking...I request you not to be so...😃
Purely opening threads and turning them pink alone is not going to bring us above and beyond Number 3 - if you compare the number of active members in forum 1 and 2 they have its twice as much as us...so even if all of us try to compete - we wouldn't be able to sustain it...but, look on the brighter side - we have nearly twice as many members and topics as forums 6 onwards...
[It would help if newcomers bookmarked Jodha akbar forum to your personal IF pages...each person counts towards points...]
As for IF ranking itself - Now, I DEFINITELY UNDERSTAND THAT IF ranking helps promote publicity...and that we should aim for staying up in top 5 - so all that needs to be done for that is needed and more than welcome! But, we are comfortably placed and shouldn't fret more than needed too...even on Sunday we had 10 pages of topics (which is more than any forum bar QH)
Having said all that, I'm finding a slight disadvantage with mission pink (pleej don't throw tomatoes/chappals at me😆) and that some of the beautiful discussion threads are being pushed back to pages 6,7😠...I am ALL for chat threads, time pass threads, masti threads (in fact LOVE ALL OF IT as my friends here would know😃) However, this forum needs an equal balance of meaningful threads to help draw viewers to the forum and sustain interest of transient visitors...(I shall not take names) but there are some forums where there are only Timepass threads and FFs for pages and pages..and as a 'transient member' one would soon sorta lose interest in browsing a forum that doesn't have much to contribute discussion/debate wise!
Once again, don't worry so much about IF ranking...as long as we're in top 5 it'll help...IF ranking is more like an ego-boost for us - I'm sure it makes us feel nice to be in the top 3😃 and we'll keep working towards that...however, what REALLY makes a difference to the serial is its TVR ratings...
