Hello guys...Its been so long I haven't updated SOL. So first of all a big Sorry to every single person who take their valuable time to read the stupid stuff I write...For past two months I was caught up with college..studies and exams... Ek internal khatham nahi hui aur next week my second internals are starting.I have a huge pile assignment to do...I am totaly stuck in between exams and assignment... 😭
I dedicate this chapter to all my readers ...I love you all so much...😊

Strings Of Love : Part 3

"Miss Gupta I am impressed by your work. So I have a good news for you" said a man who is about age 45-50.

She felt very happy. She was desperately waiting to hear this good news from her boss. What she heard was beyond surprising.

"Congratulations Miss Gupta. You have been promoted as the New General Manager of AR company"

Some was jumping from inside and doing the craziest happy dance.

"Sir...ThankYou...I"

"No Miss Gupta don't thank me. You earned this position by youself .All the best "

Trrrtrrr!!!!!

The sound of alarm disturbed her...That was when she realized it was a dream. What a wonderful dream to start the day with. A short but sweet dream. A dream that will come true real soon. Khushi smiled. She neatly folded the blanket and kept it aside and came out of the bed. Khushi had her breakfast and was watching TV. She was watching business when she hear her landline ringing.Lazily she got up from the couch and too the phone.

"Hello"

"Whaat???...By afternoon???

Something was told from the other side which left khushi shocked

Lavanya was too much concentrating on the pink shade of her newly applied nail paint. Looking and analysing it in every possible angle as her life depends on it.

"Stop staring at your nail paint or else it will melt of by your deathly stares baby" NK was trying to grab his dear wife's attention for the past 30 minutes. But she was no where in the real world.

"La...there is a lot more to think about than your nail paint yaar...are you even listening to me?

"My nail paint look a little old type na...you know like the dadi type colour"

NK was beyond sad and irritated by Lavanya's senseless reply.

"La you don't love me any more na"

That is when Lavanya burst into a laughter..

"Oh NK baby that is a girl's line..."

"Why can't I use a girls line when you are acting like a boy who is ignoring his girlfriend" Nk was making a sad face.

"Oh baby..You are so cute when you talk like this and that is what I love about you. Come here baby..come"

Their lips were inches apart when NK's phone vibrated from his pocket.

"Who is that idiot messaging you at the wrong time...!" Lavanya was angry. she was mentally killing the person who ruined the kiss.Nk took his phone and checked the messege.

"That idiot is our dear khushi...she messaged me to meet her right now.Seem like something urgent"

"Ok...You go. I will pack your stuffs for the trip.I hope everything is fine. Call me "

Nk hugged Lavanya and left to meet Khushi.

Lavanya was worried about Khushi.She checked her phone.No calls from NK. She was about to call NK when she receive another call. "Akash " name flashed across the screen.She took it.

"Hey Lavanya Sorry if I am disturbing you at wrong time...Its urgent" voice came from other side of phone."No way sir...You can disturb me at any time..." "Stop calling me sir Lavanya..I just called you to ask for a favour" asked Akash in a pleading tone.

"Oh sure sir.sorry...Akash..What can I do for you? Lavanya was wondering why Akash is asking a favour from her.

"Lavanya you have an apartment near Muncipal Town hall na??Is anyone staying there???I know that you and your husband is going to shift to that apartment after your vacation..." Akash was struggling too much to get to the point.

"No Akash...No one is staying there.. Actually there is work going n there. So We are not planning to shift there any soon"

"Oh My God Lavanya..I need an apartment, house or anything like that urgently.What will I do now.? Akash was reacting like there is no option left.

"I know a perfect place.There is an apartment. Its actually NK's mama's apartment. Mamaji's family is settled abroad. He rarely visit India"

"Thank God!actually Lavanya I want to know whether you mind giving that apartment for rent for like 2-3

months..???"Akash already have his fingers crossed and expecting a positive reply from Lavanya.

"Hmmm...But why do you need an apartment in Delhi? You are in Lucknow na?"Lavanya was confused

"Please Lavanya...It is for my bhai.He is coming from London and now he have no place to stay since RM is getting renovated" Helplessness was reflecting in his voice.

"Sure Akash...I don't want to get fired for denying my boss...Your brother can stay there.We have the key here and I will give it to Aman."

"Thank You so much and I hope NK won't mind my brother staying there"

"No...I will ask him. He will never say no to me. Ok then Akash I will handover key to Aman by Afternoon"

"Thanks a tonn Lavanya and enjoy you honeymoon"

Lavanya was happy that she could help Akash.

But Akash was the happiest person on this world right now. Finally he arranged an apartment for his brother. It was nothing less than finalizing a crucial deal. Akash patted his own shoulder for his excellent achievement.

After receiving the call Khushi was in too much tension.

OMG what will I do now..??? Yeh NK abhi tak aya kyu nahi??

Just then she hear the door bell. Khushi ran and open the door. Seeing Khushi NK knew she was in trouble.

"What happened Khush...you okay??

"No yaar I am not ok"

"Don't worry Khushi...I am here na. Tell me what is bothering you? Nk was concerned for khushi.

"I am homeless yaar"...

"What?? NK was confused

"They just asked me to leave this apartment within afternoon. I forgot that this is Company apartment and since I am no more an employee of Orbit Industries they kicked me out of here. How rude!!.." Khushi said clearing NK's confusion.

"But how can you leave this place at such short notice?...I mean I know it must be Manisha's plan, but still how can someone do so? Any way let me think of something. Since my chacha and other family members are coming to my home you won't be able to stay in my home.Mom and dad would have loved to have you there, but what to do??" Nk was thinking every possible way to help his friend.

"Don't worry Khushi atleast you have a job now. So you will be able to find a place to stay real soon" said NK to calm down Khushi.

"But how...?? Khushi was all worried...Yesterday she was jobless, but she got a new job and today she is homeless. Great!!

NK made a few calls to his other friends to get some place for Khushi..But no one was able to help.

Suddenly something strike NK's mind.

"Hey you know my Mama in Italy na?

"Who?? Mama with south Indian Mami???"

"Yeah that one. He have an apartment in BK nagar. No one is there. You can stay there..."

Khushi was so happy to hear this from NK.Without waiting for a second she gave NK a bone crushing Hug..

"Oh My God NK...You are a life saver..."

"ahhh...where do you get all that strenght from??Stop crushing me Khushi.I will leave the keys at Rajeev dada's shope. You collect it from there. I will send someone to help you pack all your stuff from here and go to BK nagar " NK was feeling like he solved a world crisis. Now he can peacefully go and enjoy romantic trip with his La.

"Oh my god La must be packing alone...ok bye khush.. I gotta go now... I will miss u...I will call you whenever I get time..take care''
"Don't you dare call me after you reach sidney. Spend time with your wife and keep her happy...If you call me then I will not talk to you" Khushi shouted as NK made his way to the lift.

Arnav was still sitting in the cafe and having his 11th cup of coffee. An hour ago Akash called and informed that an apartment is arranged for his stay. Finally The Great ASR got a roof above his head. Aman reached as fast as he can and gave the apartment keys with address to his New boss. Arnav left the cafe to his new home.
After 30 minutes his SUV stopped near a huge building.'Sunrise Apartments' was written near the main entrance. A Place with peaceful atmosphere.Arnav liked the calm nature of the place. The watchman came running toward Arnav and took the luggage from him and made his way to Apartment number 14..His new living place.

Khushi packed all her stuff and bid bye to her apartment. NK send a taxi for Khushi.

"BK nagar,Sunrise Apartments hai na madam?? the taxi driver asked

"Yes bhaiyya..." Khushi replied.

Khushi was happy that now she have a job and an apartment to live.A small smile came to her lips...She felt that Something great is going to happen now everything is going to be alright..

That is it for now. I can see only half of my desktop screen due to some technical problems in the display of my PC.So kindly ignore the mistakes..Please...Arnav -Khushi meeting next chapter for sure...Promise...😳

I made it clear in the first chapter that khushi wanted to be an independent girl. If she want she can get anything under this sun, but she believes in earning it through her hard work..I hope u get what I meant...:-)
