Why do Karan's skin look tanned/ darker in QH episodes compared to clips of interviews? In interviews his skin looks couple of shades lighter than in the QH episode ...is it just my eyes that are playing tricks on me or Karan goes by tan make up for Asad character?

He has to look haggard and worn out for the current track.

Or it could just be the lighting...

i think hes just really worn out!

plus the track isnt really helping him look better but more depressed!

In real he is more fair..He does use makeup and go tanned for Asad's character..

What significance dark skin adds to the character Asad? He should be okay with his natural skin tone ...no??

I think it is the lighting, as Karan is fair in real life :) #HandsomeHunk

If it is lighting then Surbhi too should look couple of shades darker right? But she has the same complexion both in QH episodes and interviews.

If i understand it, it is intentional makeup done to him.

He is a serious guy who worked very hard since child hood. not that he is working in hot sun today, but overtime, they want to show these hardships reflect on his skin color. Also, if you look at it, they want to show that asad and nikhat have resemblances in features and some what in skin color, both of them went through hard times physically/mentally. on the other hand, ayan does not take anything seriously. The older siblings did not let any hardships touch nazma/nuzhat. So, the particular make up given to each actor is thought after.
