Why do they show Zoya praying only when she's in trouble?

I love that they even show praying but why only when Zoyas life is bad? Why don't they show her praying when everything's good?? It's a little sad!!

that is not sad, it is true, when we are happy we tend to thank not God for what he has blessed us with , but when he gives us tests we remember him. Irony isnt it? 😆

Is it not the fact of life? Everyone sits and pray when they are in trouble or in problem. When things are hunky dory then we just look up and say thank you god ...Ironic but true😳

We should pray no matter what and even thank God more when we are happy! But of course Gul won't show this side!

It also shows Zoya's faith in life and almighty. A lot of people after a point of time when faced with adversities blame the Lord for everything but here Zoya holds on tightly to her faith in Allah... Its a good thing and completely true to Zoya's character who no matter what never let that will to live and carry on diminish inside her. She's just trying to hold on and seeking strength for the same.

she did pray regularly during Ramadan, but I guess she does pray more when she is sad, which unfortunately everyone does
