For the people who are not reading my post properly, I am neither bashing the actors, nor the show. I am just stating my opinions, which I am entitled to. Please keep this topic healthy with discussion and before you jump to conclusions. Read. Please. And...its JUST a show. Don't get carried away.

Probably a very cliche post after a typical manhandling episode. But my girls, this was not your typical manhandling, this was by far the most scariest thing i've ever see a man do to a woman on indian television. I mean, which girl is gonna classify this as romantic? 🤔 Seriously?...I'm just saying.

Call me a feminist of whatever you wanna call me. I know I signed up for this, all the romance and etc, but this was totally unexpected and was unacceptable from my side. 😕

Yes. I didn't want him to fall in love with her yet. Yes. I wanted hurdles along the way. Yes. There are supposed to be misunderstandings. But, and yes there comes a BUT: Ladies and gentleman, in my dictionary, tonight was abuse, mental and physical, the pushing, shoving, bangle breaking (Ok maybe not so much the bangle breaking but you get the idea) but is was extemely afflicting to even watch, poor girl Aastha.
But yes. Thank The Lawd that she actually SPOKE up although she couldn't get physical like Mr Shlok. She used her open mouth correctly for once. Kuddos girl😆

Shlok, my boy, tonight you have sinned. Thou art to repent? Repent before its too late!
Absolutely awful🤔

Oh Yeah EDIT:
FYI: Women are not weak, just because Aastha is so much smaller and petite compared to him does not mean he has the right to manhandle and show male domination over her. I HATE those sort of men, the type that only show domination towards women. If he is such a man, when a conflict between him and his father arises, i'd like to see him stand up to Niranjan

Double Edit: This is something quite personal, but I just wanted to add...I have not always been on good terms with my own father, and my mother always used to say: "Forgive and forget, men are arrogant and full of ego, but always remember...if a man doesn't respect his own mother, then he will never be able to respect and appreciate any woman, whether it is his own wife or daughter."😔

So I have a question for the forum...is Shlok one of those men? Will he ever respect Aastha or the women in his own house as a woman? Care and protect her?

Rant Over,

Agree with you... It was abusive... They shouldn't show such abusive things on shows... it brings across the wrong message.

I agree. I was cringing every single moment he was hurting her.
I was like Aastha kick him where it hurts the most.

But man .. such men ... if angered then .. they can do worst. I real life its all about dominance. I don't care if some stupid girl, his mother hurt him.. what he is doing to aastha is worse.

I dont care if he feels bad after that.

This is precicely why I (yes I know I am going to have to duck the chappals at me) hated ASR from first season. I hated that he grabbed Kushi that way and treated her that way. I always wanted K to give back to A.

And she did in some ways.

Aastha should do the same. She should really show Shlok his place.

He is getting on my nerves.

Now i am 100%sure he just wants to ruin her reputation. That was clear from todays episode so that Avdood and his family will be obliged to get them married.

I completely agree with you, no women should ever have to go through any type of abuse.
Where was aastha's paper cutter when she needed it!

Why can't they show a challenge of wits instead of physical dominance?
Why can't they show an intellectual battle between them. And then attraction and minor khichav and holding and pulling back (in a romantic way) that would be wonderful.

It makes me sick to the gut. I feel really bad for Aastha :( pooor kid

Agree with you
I never expected to see this much abuse honestly I'm very shocked from the way Shlok manhandled Aastha. Even though he was talking to that stupid woman in his dream but he took it out on Aastha.
He absolutely has no right to hurt her like that. Being hurt by someone doesn't mean you can take out your pain on anyone you see in front of you. It's not Aastha's fault that this woman has hurt him.
Shlok really angered me today. He was acting like a wild beast and poor Aastha my heart went out to her
