First of all if Yashji lived today would he turn a year old, may he rest in peace. We will always remember you, god of romance 🤗

today he is getting celebrated with a fashion show dedicated to him by his own wife Pamela Chopra. The event will take place tonight.

9 leading heroines will walk the ramp, SRK is walking too, there will be models also, several industry people are invited by Pamela herself.

Post all the stuff related to the show in this topic.

Till now the actresses confirmed are:

- Katrina, Sridevi, Madhuri, Juhi, Preity, Rani, Anushka & Parineeti(the last two will walk as Madhubala and Nargis).

the 9th heroine will either be Rekha or Karishma.

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan will walk the ramp later this week to commemorate late filmmaker Yash Chopra's 81st birth anniversary.

Chopra passed away last year on October 21 before his last film starring Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma, Jab Tak Hain Jaan', released.

Khan will be joining Yash Raj Films' heroines Sridevi, Rani Mukherjee, Katrina Kaif, Madhuri Dixit, Juhi Chawla, Preity Zinta, Anushka Sharma and Rekha on the ramp in the special tribute on September 27.

Khan worked with Chopra in hit films like Darr', Veer Zara' and the all-time superhit Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jyenge'.

While Chopra was inspired by magnificent Bollywood actresses Madhubala and Nargis, he never worked with them. But they will be represented in dress and style by Parineeti Chopra and Anushka Sharma at the show.

The event will showcase India's first Bollywood inspired fashion label "Diva'ni" launched by YRF, and is being organized by Chopra's wife Pamela.

"Pamelaji requested Shah Rukh to be part of this tribute to Yashji and he happily agreed to walk with all the divas as part of the grand finale," Rafiq Gangjee, the official spokesperson of Yash Raj Films told an Indian publication.

Diva'ni ' Facebook page also hints at the stars in attendance for the grand event, marking "purple" as the colour for the evening. "Coming your way, a story of romance, freedom and fashion. Inspired by Indian cinema. Will all its stars in attendance. Stay tuned," it says.

Actually this seems like a ploy to promote YRF's clothing line DivaNi. I wonder if the stars are doing it for free. Must be...cuz YRF is very kanjoos.
