When Jalal picked the white dupatta today, I saw it as a sign of peace and purity and everything that others have already mentioned. But I also see it as something more than that: I see it as a blank canvas. When Jalal gave it to Jodha, he was offering her a second chance, a clean slate, a do-over. He wants to give their relationship a fresh start. I know Jodha seemed rude during the interaction, but she chose to color the blank canvas with pink, which can only be taken positively.

As Jodha said herself, the colors can be used to change relationships. Jalal brought white and she brought pink to their union. Instead of creating a murky blot, these two will form a beautiful light pink, which I can only assume symbolizes carefree happiness and love :)

Yes but we know that Jalal was bringing it for her, it was to be presented to her. She may not have been aware of what she was doing, but she took the blank canvas and added her own loving touch of color. I hope this is foreshadowing what is to come. From Jalal's side, he may continue to offer Jodha chances to salvage their relationship, and hopefully soon Jodha will take the hint and begin to color his life, like she did the dupatta. :)

Hahaha love it!! Let's do it! :) Too bad Jalal bought all of the colors; we could've used that pink here!

Yup, we could also take it to mean that instead of peace (white) we will continue to see passion (pink) between the two. Jalal can hope to gain peace, but he will end up with so much more.

i completely agree with u the dupatta indicates beginning of pure love..a white canvas just like jalal's heart that no one has occupied, and jodha's pink color of love and happiness will fill jala's blank heart, an indication of their future relationship!
