Sridevi to team up with Meryl Streep; but only if Jhanvi approves the script

Hollywood actress Meryl Streep has seen Sridevi's English Vinglish, a film about a Maharashtrian woman struggling with the English language in America and has given her go-ahead to a film with the actress. The film entitled Cowboys & Indians is to be directed by Hollywood actor Robert Redford's daughter Amy.
Interestingly, Sridevi does not have a casting agent in USA. Apparently, both Amy and Meryl have shown a keen interest in this film solely on the basis of Sridevi's performance in English Vinglish. But now the script awaits the approval of Sridevi's elder daughter Jhanvi.
Sridevi's husband Boney Kapoor says, "Sri has received the script for the project that you've mentioned with Meryl Streep. but we're yet to read it. Our daughter Jhanvi will read and approve it first. Only then will Sridevi and I go through it. But yes, in principle the project sounds right as a follow-up to English Vinglish for Sri." Sridevi's role in Cowboys & Indians is a full-fledged one as both Meryl and Sridevi have equal roles.
