Hi all, today's "Suna Suna" was a repeat, but nonetheless here are the lyrics if interested. The implications (as I perceived them), are slightly altered.
Today's Lyrics:
Vishwas jisne mujhpe kiya, meine usko hi dhoka diya...
Cheenli hai uske labon se hassi, uski aankhon ko aansoon diya.
Apni hi nazron se mein gir gaya aur mein rusva hua baar baar...
Kaise yakeen dilaoon usse ke abhi bhi hoon mein uska yaar.
Jo hogaya... maaf karo...
Yaar mera, insaaf karo...
Be panah pyar hai..
Aja...
Tera intezaar hai aja...
Translation:
I have shattered the faith of she who had trusted me so...
I have snatched the laughter of her lips and given her eyes tears.
I have fallen within my own eyes and reprimanded myself over and over...
How can I convince her that yet still I am her beloved.
Whatever has happened... Please forgive...
Beloved mine, do justice to me.
An endless stream of love exits...
Come...
These eyes await only you...
Implication:
Gathering from Jai and Bani's dialogues today, I think the implication of the lyrics remains the same as before, but today there seemed to be a greater hint at the possibility of their unity. The words generally referred to Jai's continual state of self-disgust and remorse. He knows very well that wherever she may go, she will always shadow him in every aspect of life. Coming back to the dialogues, they talk about "zakhm" (wound) and nasoor (a continually paining wound – pardon me for the ill translation, I cannot seem to put my finger on an appropriate word). Bani remarks that it does not take long for the transition between these two to occur, and from that we can gather a little in regards to the depth of her pain due to her love. I think that she too very well is aware that he will always remain within her no matter what, and hence the gesture. But despite this incessant love, she also cannot remove the bitter truth (or so it is presented) from her mind, and willingly or unwillingly, she has to turn and walk away. Jai on the other hand comments that "zakham zyada gehra nahin hai" (the wound is not too deep). Perhaps this is a hint towards her, a pleading for forgiveness, another chance at life. Of course he does recognize the implications of "his actions", but there is the notion that love is forgiveness and it surpasses everything else. Hope my bak-bak made sense!
Cheers,
