Kumud made me happy today.. she finally walked out of the house.. bruised in her body and soul but assured in her mind that she did everything before giving up..
She has been hated , bashed left right and center in this forum and I myself have disapproved of her actions so many times..sometimes I think what could she probably have done given the circumstance she was in.. her biggest mistake , after of course making the hasty decision to get married without a background check , which btw was her father's responsibility which he failed at, was to hide facts.. No not the fact that her ''ex- lover/ fiance'' is in the house.. Yes I know it sounds all unethical and wrong but I won't judge her for that.. why? it wasn't her decision to have Saras in the house.. she did ask him to leave quite a few times..
I can understand Saras' reason too to stay there.. yes he has no business meddling into their lives now.. but some one who has a guilt of ruining this girl's life, can possibly not turn his back on her when he knows she is going through so much.. He would have never lived in peace knowing she is going through hell everyday , largely because of his own mistake.. all this while , his only and only intention was to make sure she is safe, settled and happy..
I do not doubt even a bit that had Kumud married a good guy or had Pramad co-operated with Kumud in making the marriage work, Saras would have left.. He would have left the very next day he was brought into the house, had he known that she is married to good guy instead of an alcoholic wasted man who lives off his father's money and sleeps with the maid. I know practically speaking Saras has no right to be in that house.. but its hard to turn your back on your loved ones when you know they are in pain..
Hiding his real identity was wrong and Kumud playing along that was wrong too.. but the intention was never wrong.. Saras never tried to take Kumud away from Pramad and Kumud never cheated on Pramad because of Saras.. They both stayed in their limits all this while, keeping their feeling aside and genuinely working towards that one goal- turn Pramad into a good person and somehow make the marriage work so they all can settle in peace.. if things had worked the way they wished, knowing Kumud she would've showered Pramad and his family with love and affection.. Pramad probably would have realized his responsibilities as a son , as a husband... Saras could have left the country, with peace in his mind ,assured that atleast she is happy and settled.. Just the way he did today, when he was assured that Kumud is safe and back with her family.. Isn't this all they had hoped for.. ?????
So what exactly is so wrong in that?!!! All the bluffing , Saras and Kumud have been accused of, is bluffing yes but never with the intention of cheating or hurting anyone.. the only people who would have got hurt for each other are Saras and Kumud.. but they were ready to bear that only to make others happy.. Had things worked the way they hoped, Dharmadhikaris could'v got their son back, Desai's could have settled in peace.. can they compared to the bluff Pramad and Kalika did, when their intention throughout has been only and only to cheat and hurt others..??!!!
You don't have to be a genius to know that Pramad is rotten to the core.. he makes me cringe when he abuses everyone around him and he makes me laugh when he tries to make it sound like he had the most miserable childhood.. so the guy complains that his father locked him up in his room when he failed when he should have actually patted his back .. boohooo š that's the reason he started drinking?
If the guy has the audacity to yell at his parents why did he loose his voice when they forced him into marriage.. he could have run away like Kalika..!!! but then he needs the money to buy expensive alcohol so he agreed and decided to take out the anger on the girl he marries.. š
Speaking of Kalika, does he love her? No!! he will sleep with her but will not marry the maid.. why? who could'v possibly stopped him? Could anyone stop him from drinking, insulting his in laws , hitting his wife, insulting his parents...?? so who is he doing the favor by living in that house? No one but himself.. free food, room to stay, parents to insult, maid to sleep with.. that's Pramad.. and I won't even start on Kalika...
