Would This Show Work On Another Channel

Like, I just started watching this show n I loved it. I'm so sad its ending, it was hilarious, I heard some people complaining about the writing, but I also checked out the recent episodes which I still found entertaining. I don't understand why cancel it so soon, it reviews were fine, the ratings I don't think were that bad. But I was wondering if it aired on another channel like Life Ok or SAB, Sony would it have still stayed despite the rating? Just a thought, I hope the cast get on another show, I would love to see them again.
