Funny Incident regd KS & Tiger Heads!

Hey Guys,

Its either KS following me everywhere or maybe I seem to carry the hangover of KS everywhere I go! Because for some reason or the other, I always end up having KS around me even when I am some 200 Km away from Civilization😕

Wanted to share a very strange and funny incident with you guys! Kind of related to KS in some way!

I was out of Station for the Weekend, to a really old and right in the middle of wilderness Heritage Resort near the Jim Corbett Park (I hope all the Videshi's here would be well aware of the Tiger Country Res0rt in Northern India!)

We stayed at this Fort turned Heritage Palace Hotel, which is kept very much in the same condition as it would have been when it was occupied by its former Royals (The Thakur's of Bulandshehar District in UP) Dark, Brooding and Very Haunted overall! (Not my idea of a 'Pleasant Getaway', btw!)

One of the Creepiest Room of the Palace had about two dozen Tiger and Tigress Head's Mounted on its Walls, all of them hunted down by the Former King of the Palace! Though I didn't notice this before, but my little one, obviously fascinated by the horrendous sight of Tiger Heads, kept taking me to the Room to see them over and over again and ask his innumerous and never-ending questions. (The room was actually the creeps and the kind we see in B-grade Hindi Horror Movies, with a dusty old Chandelier hanging precariously and the whole room musty and unused for centuries or so, it seemed!)

Then I noticed that one of the Tigeress Head that was mounted on the Wall was named 'Bani'😆 (The Name given, the date of its killing and place where the hunt took place was mentioned on a plaque where the Tigress Head was mounted!)

Basically, the Kings used to name their Hunts based on the Place where the Animal was captured from and there is a place called 'Sita Bani' in the Hills nearby from where this particular Tigress must have been caught!)

I was just recovering from the bout of laughter after reading the name of the 'Deceased ' Tigress, when I got to know something which totally got my goat!😆

Believe it or not, the Former King of this Palace, who had hunted down the poor creature was name, HH J. P. Singh.....Which stood for 'Jai' Pal Singh😆

So basically, "King Jai" hunted down "Tigress Bani" in the Jungle and had her head mounted in his Drawing Room!😆

Had a totally wild time laughing, much to Hubby & Baby's bewilderment! One of the Stewards there was giving me funny looks, as if I am some Loco Case or something!😆

Field day for all Bani-baiters.....😉

Though as Raaga said, "It should rather have been the other way round."😆

Also, before someone accuses me of taking money and promoting the Heritage Resort or something😕, let me tell you, that it is not the case here! I wouldn't recommend the place to my neighbour also who parks his stupid Car in our Parking Space everyday! The place was pretty spooky and had all sort of strange noises everywhere....But the Tigress & King did make my Day!😆

DISCLAIMER : My finding the incident funny has nothing to do with my supporting cruelty to animals (I am a Vegetarian and an ardent animal lover)but I just found the similarity of the names and the whole stituation to be totally howlarious!

Also, I whole heartedly wish Bani very well and have no wish to see any one mounted on any Walls at Anyone's Living Room!

All Jai-lovers / Bani-baiters who wish to see their dream in reality should go to a place called, "Fort Unncha Gaon", roughly 100 Kms from Delhi, in the Middle of Nowhere and see Bani Mounted by Jai on the Wall!😉😆 (I know I am getting killed for this!)

Even though I'm not a vegetarian, I'm totally against the animal cruelty and would not find such thing funny but this was def. funny.

I was really, really amazed by the coincidence, cause though 'Jai' is a very common name amongst the Indian Royals, Bani is a very uncommon name in itself, especially for a Tigress😉😆

I wish I could have photographed it, but the room had no electricity and was anyway pretty spooky to be captured and kept as a Memory!

Secondly, Rekha, KS is just EVERYWHERE! Actually, I stand corrected, Jai and Bani are everywhere it seems.
