Biography:
Armaan Kohli is an Indian film actor, primarily working in Hindi. He is the son of Rajkumar Kohli, the producer and director. He made his acting debut as a child in his father's films Badle Ki Aag (1982) and Raj Tilak (1984). He was launched as a leading actor by his father in the 1992 film Virodhi. The film failed at the box office. His father tried to revive his career again with films like Aulad Ke Dushman (1993) and Qahar (1997) but they also failed to do well and Armaan did not become a star.
Armaan was set to star in Deewana but walked out after completing the first shooting schedule; Shahrukh Khan was penciled in,[1] and ironically for Armaan, Deewana became a super hit.
In 2002 he was in the news when his car hit a man.[2] After a break from acting for a few years, his comeback venture Jaani Dushman: Ek Anokhi Kahani in 2002 also flopped even though he rechristened himself Munish Kohli.[3][4] He made his last film appearance to date in the ensemble war film LOC: Kargil in 2003.
In September 2013, he is currently a contestant on the reality television series Bigg Boss 7.
