Shapath's roaring TVTs make it the #1 show on Life OK

1 hour ago | TellychakkarTeam

Fireworks Productions' Hum Ne Li Hai... Shapath on Life OK is a show that has stood against all odds, and from the verge of bidding good-bye to the audience has turned tables to become the #1 show on the channel. It has been consistently beating the popular mythological show on the channel, Devon Ke Dev.. Mahadev. The rating as per today's release for Shapath is 3410 which equates to a TVR of 2 +.

Yes, this is a turnaround and a miracle of sorts, claim the entire unit of Shapath including Producer B P Singh who also holds the feat of keeping the audience glued to the longest running show CID on Sony Entertainment Television.

Says B P Singh to Tellychakkar.com, "Yes, the show was almost over for us and we had even bid our final good-byes and hand-shakes. That was a time when Ajit Thakur (General Manager, Life OK) supported us and said we could turn things around. A few additions into the team from the channel's side and we cast a new magical spell on audiences."

And Lady Luck did smile on the show with the inclusion of Shailendra Jha and Baljit Chaddha as Programming Heads of Life OK.

B P Singh continues to say, "The best part was that both Shailendra and Baljit did not have fiction experience. But when they got into the team of Shapath, we made a miracle happen. The introduction of the Super Villain series catapulted us to fame, and from a serious show we went on to appease more of kids. And today we have managed to cross the 2+ mark. And a huge credit goes to our writers who have been churning out fascinating stories. Episodes that of the Super Villains are one of a kind, and no other show apart from Shapath offers such a concept to the viewers."

Vijay Shetty, Supervising Producer, Fireworks Productions describes his happiness stating, "We have made a miracle happen by turning a flop show into a huge success. There was a time when we used to struggle to hit a TRP of 0.4 and 0.5 and see where we stand today. The Super Villain series has been a big hit and only Fireworks can master in a genre like this."

Vijay also mentions the names of the Executive Producers on the show, Chandan Rajput and Vicky Goyal for the success of Shapath.

For the uninitiated, the recent stories of Shapath, that of the lizard man appealed to the audience a lot and went on to bag a huge 2.0 TVR. The other story on Zodiac warriors was also widely appreciated and fetched 1.8 TVR.

We also hear that the team of Shapath is so well-planned with their strategies that they recently had a workshop which was attended by the teams from the production house, channel, advisors and writers. They sat down to chalk the plans for the next few months in terms of story lines and concepts.

On the extensive planning for the show, BP went on to say, "Yes, our aim for the near future is to hit a 3 mark in terms of numbers."

Kudos to the entire team of Shapath.. Three cheers..

That's okay Zari. This one is an exception.

I must say that is just great! 👏

But I wish they paid attention to CID just like this! And have a look..it says that the channel worked with the PH. Maybe Sony should take some lessons from LifeOK. 😡

Anyways, TFS.

That means, the credit for Shapath's change goes to the channel...
