Some more yawn epis thanks to RK's involvement with Zee Carnival and PD's accident/exams I suppose. I guess things will remain this way till March end when PD's exams end and RK's vacations are over. Till then I guess we will have to lower our expectations and stick to IF rather than KS per se. The creatives could have used this phase to focus on other characters and relationships rather than subject us to a string of inane parties. For instance:
The Adi-Jigs relationship, why they got married in the first place and why they broke up? Was it cos Jigs was an evil person, I think not bcos some character I think Tauji said she was a good person to begin with?Was it cos Jigs and Adi were too young and immature and got burdened with kids b4 they were old enuff to handle them? Or was it bcos Adi could not be the kind of man that Jigs's bro was?
Why did Ranveer become a brahmachari. Was it cos his parents failed marriage had kind of put him off married life? Why are the Bali kids generally gfns is it cos of their parents conflicts or just manufacturing defect?
Who were the Shuklas? Particularly Mr. Shukla and why did he vanish? Why does Sarlaben still wear sindoor and mangalsutra? Did she have any relationship with UW or JW? Why was JW so fond of Pooch? What are Pooch's thoughts on his relationship with JW, Bani on the future of his relationship with Pia or the J-B relationship?
Why did the St. Billo- Karuna relation break off? Why was she so upset over Karuna's elopement that she can't forgive her even 20 years hence? What kind of person is St. Billo anyway?
Who were the Dixits- what was the kind of relationship between KD and ND and why KD ran off with a loser like ND?
The problem is the kreatives are not used to exploring these facets of relationships. And tragically, given how badly the other characters in KS (St. Billo and Jigs particularly) have been slaughtered, even if they did, we perhaps would not give them a sympathetic hearing.
Maybe they could use this hiatus to partially redeem Vakil babu by getting him to investigate as to who is the person persecuting the Walia khandaan.
There wasn't much to observe on the last two epis but m2c for whatever they showed.
J-B: Banigiri/jasoosi continues unabated. Still the same refusal to share her suspicions with anyone. I can understand that LION KING is out of favour but at least she could have called up Pooch or Vakil babu. She is preggie and chasing raazes all over the place. And should something happen to her or the kid, guess who St. Billo will blame? At least JW did try to call her up on the phone. And Bani says " my family has not come out of the sadma of J-P relationship." But Bani, what pray is the exact nature of the sadma u r referring to- sadma of Munna committing adultery or the sadma of Munna being raped. And when do we come to know of your views on the whole scam? Are u still in sadma or have completely recovered?
The good thing about yesterday's epi of course was that whenever Bani is in trouble she now instinctively reaches out for her Mr. Walia rather than Pooch or Vakil babu. He may be an adulterer but still is a better bet than St. Pooch or St. Tarun.
Vakil babu: Vakil babu was back to his older self yesterday. When asked to propose he proposed to Dadi rather than look around for his ex-best friend's ex-wife. Given up already? Maybe Laxmi still has a chance but will it be fair to her? Another fellow who partially redeemed himself was Sahil, he really looked cute with the baby.
Pia-bashing: Pia back to her Piagiri and Pooch subjecting her to some more torture. Might as well think twice about becoming a Mom. And JW will never become yours in one month (as you think), one year, even seven lives.
Actually the only scene I liked in the past two epis was where Jigs expresses her hurt (to Adi) as a mother being completely overlooked in the matter of her children's marriage. She is right, she has practically become a peripheral member of the Walia Mansion, even in her own children's life. Although it only have been fair on her part to reflect as to whether her own selfish unmotherly conduct has contributed to it. All said and done she has failed completely failed as a mom, sister, bahu and saas.
