Agree completely. I hate it when people try to show South Indians speaking hindi in such a terrible way. Hey only very very few people actually do that and definitely not in such a terrible way as shown in this serial. Be it Chennai express or BV both disappointed me

Instead of making us kannadigas squirm in our seats by making hospital staff speak hindi in a ridiculous accent they could have made them speak in english or kannada with a subtitle in hindi for hindi viewers.This way they would have avoided making southerners a butt of joke for other non kannada speakers.The cvs would do well to remember they have viewers from non hindi speaking states too.I too think Mehmood did great damage to the image of people of southern states by his portrayal in Padosan.

Agree with TM. The accent part looks more wrong because people of Karnataka are more well versed in Hindi compared to other Southern States and in educational hubs like Mangalore (or Vellore in Tamil Nadu) even shopkeepers and taxi walas know Hindi well.
