agree with your post lashy.. 👍🏼 what a day for jalal.. what an episode.. All these are very much needed to build AkDha's relationship.. their love.. to be each other's soul mates.. to make it epic!! ❤️
felt really bad for jalal.. he is the shehenshah of entire hindustan but look at the irony.. he has no one genuine around.. no one to to give him shoulder to cry on 😭

Yes, Lashy, her wondering whether the Shahenshah would believe her is all very well, but it is still an entirely self-centred reaction. .

I would have liked it if Jodha had spared a moment to think of what this would mean for Jalal, but she has no clue. Whereas Salima's face reflected Jalal's despair as he stood up to leave, and there is nothing at all between them, except empathy. The problem, as I have pointed out often, is that Jodha has no imagination and so cannot visualise how Jalal would be feeling once uski aankhon ka parda khul gaya. Instead of trying to think it out from his point of view and at least trying to understand it, Moti and she are busy exchanging high fives.

Even Bharmal is better, in his understanding of Jalal's motivations, and also of the total unsuitability of Ratan Singh as a husband for Sukanya. When he said that, I exclaimed At last! Why did he not say this to his daughter in Agra before he left for Amer?

Yes today had no AKDHA - but would it have really made sense?🤔 It was a very emotional day for Jalal today...and this revelation, a culmination of the track!

I don't think deliberately adding romance just for the sake of it helps towards a couple's chemistry. Instead, if the foundation for the story is solid and justified, its always a treat to watch passionate romance between the leads!

Obviously, its through this track that Jalal will understand what Jodha is made of - INTEGRITY...its through this track that Jodha has got to understand Jalal disturbing past a bit more...

Its all a journey...and not every step is an even platform!

Therefore, even if a couple of episodes were a drag (because of the strikes and whatnot!) the track still does make sense as far as the development of Ja-Jo are concerned...

Besides, today for the first time I could see genuine concern in Jodha's eyes - concern whether Jalal would believe her over MA?This is a dilemma I've never seen Jodha go through!😳

You've stated your answer in your own post aunty...there is at least a platonic relationship of respect between jalima...Jalal and Salima have nothing against each other...

However, its been barely a week since Jodha has been let out of Nazarbandh - remember his cruel dialogues to her about how he wanted to torture her...why, even yesterday he was nearly ready to slap her for putting across her point...As women would we be ready to start thinking things from his perspective after all of this - I know I wouldn't- at least not so soon...

Ja-Jo relationship (despite his attraction for her and her seeming goodwill for him) is still based on hatred...eons different from Jalal and Salima...
why any more empathy than she's already shown...she prayed he know the truth, she went to him twice to put forth her case... she's shown worry that the king is being surrounded by users and doesn't trust well-wishers...she didn't approve of subjects gossiping about their king...I don't see only a self-centred portrayal here...🤔

True, I did not enjoy watching her shout and rant and rave last week since it didn't suit her status...but I am all FOR JODHA taking her own time to empathize with a ruler who told her the very basis of their relationship was only so he could satiate his pride!

No, Lashy, you have not quite understood what I was getting at, so I must not have put it across properly.

I did not say that Jodha should sympathise or empathise with Jalal over this brutal shock to him. But she should understand it as an analyst would understand it. That would show her intelligence and her ability to set her personal emotions aside when analysing a situation. This is in fact precisely the need to set aside sambandh and moh, as she herself advises Jalal. The sambandh can be good or bad, and the maxim applies to her as much as it does to Jalal.

Similarly, she seems quite incapable of understanding what Bharmal explains to his family today, that Ratan Singh was a totally undesirable husband for Sukanya. She never even thinks on those analytical lines.

In short, this Jodha is a stereotypical heroine ranting against the hero for everything he does and everything he does not do. I know that 90% of the forum is gaga over her and that for them she can do no wrong. But I am a detached observer, and I react as per the circumstances. Right now, I am no admirer of Jodha's.

Plus I do not like it when it is declared that she can do no wrong. An appalling statement about anyone. I much prefer the flawed Jalal to this alleged pattern card of perfection.

And as for his being "a ruler who told her the very basis of their relationship was only so he could satiate his pride! ", what about her? She has been demanding his head on a platter since long before she clapped eyes on him, and when he had done nothing against her or hers (he has of course done a lot since then). Motibai was, even very early on, far more balanced in judging Jalal than Jodha.

No wonder till very recently, he judges everything she does in the light of her unwavering hatred towards him. And then she is offended that he does not believe her, his shubhchintak? How on earth would he know that she is one? Would you think so in his place? I would not.

Very true, and yes Jodha does care about him as her husband and that's why she defended him but she's in denial and it's a really sad time for Jalal right now so no nok-jhok for now, maybe next week.
