Why did kokila name rashi's sons tolaram n moolchand? And are their names still the same or did rashi manage to change the names?

Kokila named the boys after her father and father in law who were called Moolchand and Toluram. Not exactly names that roll off the tongue. I was hoping that they would then call the boys Chand and Ram, instead of Tolu and Molu.
