Ratan as draupadi

After watching's Ratan's feisty performance as Amba yesterday i think she would have been an excellent Druapadi.the way she was spitting fire in the court room scene yesterday was awesome.If she was given Draupadi;s court room scene she would have doen justice to it.I mean i am not saying pooja sharma wouldnt do justice to it .But ratan after seeing her emotions and anger during the courtroom scenes reminded me soo much of draupadi.I think she would have done full justice to that role

She would ive been perfect for draupadi

I too was in awe after watching Ratan today.Hope Pooja Sharma does justice as Draupadi.

I agree that she'd have made an excellent Draupadi, except for her age - had she been Draupadi, they'd have had to select much older actresses to play Kunti & Gandhari.

Vrish Draupadi wouldn't have come out as a 35 year old woman I guess! In those days, they used to marry at 15! So couldn't Draupadi come out of fire as a 15 year old girl?

Regarding the age, I am sure powder will do the trick.

Yes agreed ratan was great even if u say Siyantani would also do justice to draupadi role as she imitates anger beautifully if any one has seen her performance in her last serial. I took siyantanis name as according to purans draupadi was daughter of fire she was black n dusky in color n had beautiful features n siyantani has all that attitude n appearance so i found her closer to draupadi

i think best draupadi would be bipasha basu (if she ever wants to do a tv show)...ratan is very nice in emoting as draupadi but she is not 'voluptuous' ..darupadi they say had a 'well endowed' /'voluptuos body and thats why all including karna n duryodhan wanted her!!

I am sorry I am disagreeing with everyone here. So far I have enjoyed the actors portraying Bheeshma, Karna, and Gandhari. But I am extremely disappointed with the actors choosen for Krishna, and Draupadi. The actor is cute but he doesn't have that dazzle of a face in my opinion...And I am just not connecting with the actress as Draupadi. Her dialogues are bold but ...I can't but help compare Roopa Ganguly here. In current faces Ratan would have been a better Draupadi fit than the one who was chosen. Loved her as Amba! Was Fab!
