Sai Deodhar aka Ananya of Ek Ladki Anjani Si impressed her colleagues when she effortlessly rattled off dialogues in a scene, although there was no script provided. Sai explains that on that particular day they were facing a huge problem. "The serial is telecast from Hong Kong, and we always send the tapes in advance. But as the Chinese New Year was getting close we had to send them urgently, or else we would have faced a problem. So, everyone was working at a maddening speed round the clock, when something really funny happened."
Sai smiles as she lets out her secret. "The script of Ek Ladki… changed at the 11th hour and we didn't have the dialogues for one scene. It involved me talking to someone on phone. As we wondering what to do, my dialogue writer came up with a unique idea. She simply called on the phone I was shooting with and began dictating my dialogues. I repeated exactly what she said and although it was done without any practise it turned out pretty well," she giggles.
