Hey sorry for repeating this topic,since its already been somewhat covered earlier,but I wanted to know....does "Aadat" come under the category of Sufi songs? Basically how to recognise Sufi songs?

i think more than aadat....kailash kher songs fall under sufi songs...also mitwa from kank...

i dont noe the definition of sufi songs 😆 but i can recognize one wen i hear one...(sumtimes)

I guess Aadat would fall under the category of 'mainstream' Sufi music. HR songs are considered 'Sufi rock'.

Here's a link to an informative thread on Sufi music. Artists such as Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Abida Parveen, Rabbi Shergill, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and others.

aadat isnt really a sufi song..its more of soft rock dan a sufi song d singers mentioned above by sonya are sufi singers
HR's songs r not rock or sufi deyre just bit of everything techno garage n pop mixed together..he just like to say its "sufi rock"
jiya dhadak dhadak frm kalyug is sufi well not exactly sufi but one of d sort we have in bollywood..
ya rabba from salam-e-ishq is another example..
