Eventually what viewers want dictates the story

Even Ekta Kapoor had to change her storyline for viewers... if remember her Kyun Ki saas bi bahu thi ...when the lead was killed there was a huge uproar and she had to bring back the lead by claiming mistaken identity. Therefore, my suggestion is to strongly communicate to Gul and her team that Zoyaan is not accpetable and quit the show...when TRPs fall then they will automatically fix the track. If we continue to watch she will continue to show the crap ...show your power viewers make Gul change the track and get ASYA out of this mess.

And if this doesn't work, let it be the way it is. The huge TRP fall shall fix Gul's mind! :/ and she'll get that we are against ZoYaan! 😡
